In addition to the comfortable living room and conservatory, the property has an old fashioned drawing room decorated with character. Book filled walls, a piano, music centre and comfy seating makes this room perfect for bringing the family together. A furnished garden circles the property where you can picnic on the lawn or barbeque amongst the shade of the trees during warmer months.

The house is located in a great area for walkers and cyclists, and for those wishing to enjoy the attractions of the resort of Scarborough.

Often referred to as the Queen of the Yorkshire Coast, Scarborough offers first class attractions. Dalby, the 'Great Yorkshire Forest' is close by, along with the Yorkshire Wolds and The North York Moors National Park, a beautiful landscape of stunning moorland, ancient woodland and historic sites. The Kent region

Yorkshire really does have it all – its national parks cover nearly one fifth of its land area, it has more than 800 fascinating family attractions and dozens of quirky towns and villages, each with their own story to tell. Dubbed “the foodie capital of Britain” by the editor of The Good Food Guide, the county has even been blessed in the fine dining department, and our Yorkshire holiday cottages are perfect for walkers, families and those who just want to enjoy its beauty. The landscape is dotted with intriguing ruins and historic sites, and the rugged terrain means there's plenty of opportunity for adventurers to try something daring. Yorkshire has more than 300 miles of way marked walking. Thousands of walkers take on the Three Peaks Challenge every year. The dramatic York Minster took 252 years to build

Bickley

Few holiday destinations have welcomed the weary for as many centuries as Scarborough, and it continues to greet old friends and new visitors every year. Award-winning sandy beaches frame impressive cliffs, an historic castle juts out on headland and one of Yorkshire's most diverse collections of family days out tick all the boxes for the perfect seaside holiday. It's also Scarborough's location that makes Scarborough holiday cottages ever-popular, as the resort makes a handy base for those who want to visit The North York Moor National Park, the Wolds and Dalby. Sunny Scarborough was the first seaside resort in Britain. North Bay Beach has a Blue Flag in recognition of its high standards. Scarborough is the best spot to surf on the East Coast of Yorkshire
