Mas Coquette is a lovely gite in the heart of Magalas restored lovingly using noble matertials and retaining much of the old character. The facilities include two bedrooms, bathroom with WC, modern kitchen and dining area and good-sized lounge.

Perfect for a short break to the Languedoc or a relaxing family holiday. You will have everything you need including wifi access and if you are missing anything there's someone on hand to fix it. Come and work or come and play - you have everything you need and more! All bars and restaurants are walkable and beaches and mountains a short drive away.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Herault region

The Herault is the cutural heart of the Languedoc; Pristine beaches to the South, the breathtaking Languedoc National Park to the North and the thriving cultural centre of Montpellier, Beziers and Pezenas.

Just travelling from A to B is a delight as you drift amidst vineyards along pretty roads lined with century old trees; following the rolling contours from one historic village to the next.

The mountain and coastal terrain makes for a rich cusine that is genuinely exceptional. With quailty wines from the region you dine very very well with great variety and at minimal expense.

Alongside the cultural and historical richness of the region there are outdoor activities in abundance and regardless of the season the adventurers can fill their days with pursuits and sleep well at night.

Generally it's sunny and warm - The region enjoys over 300 sun days a year - and it's protected by the National park from the harsh winds that prevail further West.

Beziers / Magalas area

There are many lovely villages in this region but it is widely accepted that Magalas is head and shoulders above the rest and once discovered you will never be tempted to go elsewhere.

Magalas is a village "circulade" - built in medieval times in a circle around the chateau. It stands proud on a hilltop just to the North of Beziers and has a heritage that can be traced back to Roman times. If you ever had a hankering after a village that "nestles" into it's environment then you'll be pleased to discover Magalas.

Whilst the village its ancient the community is very young and active. For a small village it has much to offer in terms of amenties; Five restaurants - including the renowned O-Bon Temps -, two bakeries, a pizzeria, Pharmacy, two hairdressers, flowershop, post office, supermarket, IT outlet and more.

The location is genuinely exceptional with beaches less than 20 minutes away by car, the entrance to the national park just a 10 minute drive and six international airports within easy driving distance - the nearest being Beziers just 20mins away.

How to get there

Just twenty minutes from Beziers airport and a further three airports under an hour away; Perpignan, Carcassone and Montpellier. Nimes, Girona, Toulouse and Marseille all less than two hours.

Easy drive 15 minutes from the A9 North of Beziers.
