This beautiful 4 bedroom air conditioned villa with a large pool and outdoor summer kitchen and pool bar in a large manicured garden is situated on the banks of the Canal du Midi across from a picturesque lock. The quaint village of Villeneuve les Beziers is 10 minutes walk along the canal.
The beach at Seringnan is 5 mins by car and is considered the nicest beach in the area. There are several villages with their own unique character close by in all directions..This part of coastal southern France is considered the least comercialised and the most authentic and is visited mostly by french tourists.
There are several cycle lanes close by with one beside the house which runs along by the canal. Hourly and daily boat rentals are available on the canal. If you are looking for a holiday far from the madding crowd...you have found it.

The area around Villeneuve les Beziers is rural with low key tourism unlike Perpingnan or Montpellier. There are several beaches close by - none of them overcrowded. 99% of tourists are french. This is the last uncommercialised beach area of southern france so if you are looking for a laid back,tranquil,very french,uncommercialised holiday this is the area.The kids will love the freedom.

You can fly to Carcassonne 1 hour away, Perpingnan 1 hour, Toulouse 2 hours, Marseilles 2 hours, Girona 2 hours, Nimes 1 hour, Montpellier 1 hour. I use holidayautos or carjet .com for car rental.parisis 4 hours by train
