About the home

This villa is ideal for couples or families. The terrace is a relaxing area to wine, dine and sunbathe . Several tourist attractions within easy reach such as the Malpas Tunnel and Enserune Oppidum (Hill Fort). There are also organised boat trips along the Canal or you can hire your own for an hour or more.

A holiday on this small and private complex can be relaxing or energetic. There are several seating areas around the site to take in the views and watch the boats go by. For the energetic there are petanque areas and an all weather multi sports court. There are 3 pools to either swim or relax around . Two large outdoor pools and an indoor pool (retractable roof for summer) which is heated and open all year round.
There is organised Entertainment on site in July and August for both adults and Children.

The Villa has a sunny terrace with patio table and chairs, there are also two large sunloungers. Complex has two outdoor pools and one indoor (heated ) pool which is open all year round. All weather sports area, Petanque and seating areas. Also child's play area. Snack bar, laundrette and reception area with tourist infomation.

The Languedoc lies on the southern Mediterranean Coast of France bordering with Spain.The climate is hot and sunny with the region averaging 300 days of sunshine per year.

The Languedoc is renowned for its long sandy beaches, walking, cycling and climbing activities and has a wide range of historical sites. It is also a world famous wine producing region.

The Beaches and mountains are a short drive away from the Villa the Canal Du Midi is just outside the door!

The Beziers / Colombiers area

The city of BEZIERS, with its average 300 days of sunshine each year is lively and pleasant. A stone’s throw from the nearby sea and some of the longest sandy beaches in the South of France. An easy drive to the nearby mountains with gorges, caves, forests, springs and streams, storybook villages, Romanesque churches, derelict castles and lofty towers. During mid- August, the local ‘Féria’ provides a lively festival of entertainment.

COLUMBIERS is one of many picturesque little villages, which have preserved their charm and gastronomy, practically intact since the construction of the Canal Du Midi.

The CANAL DU MIDI has been in existence for more than 300 years and was recognised by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 1996. Constructed by Pierre Paul Riquet to enable the transport of goods and the French Navy between the Atlantic ocean and the Mediterranean sea, it is now almost exclusively used by pleasure boats.
The canal is lined by trees, and meanders through the land of the Cathars, passing on the way locks, bridges and aqueducts . Also in Columbiers is the Malpas tunnel and Enserune Hill Fort (Oppidum).

The Walled Medieval City of CARCASSONE is an hours drive from the Villa . Visitors can take a guided tour, a walk along the ramparts, visit the museum or spend all day in the many souvenir stands, creperies, cafes, wine and clothing stores.

Just 30 minutes from Carcassone is Rennes Le Chateau, now internationally famous thanks to the books Holy Blood Holy Grail and the Da Vinci Code. A stunning Chateau in a magical location well worth a visit .
