About the home
The Cartbarn is located in a traditional farmyard with an outside cobbled area, chickens and ducks wonder around outside the building. There are pigs just accross the yard and beautiful views of the Conwy valley from the front and the land at the back of the cottage. This is a premium location in the Snowdonia National park for walking, sightseeing and outdoor activities. Dogs are welcome. Parking is outside the cottage.
There are many local restaurants and pubs in the Betws y Coed area which offer excellent food and hospitality and there are many visitor attractions, favourite being Snowdon which is 20 minutes away srom the Farm.

Guests at the Farm are welcome to wonder around the farm and its outdoor areas, there are other traditional and listed buildings in the farm complex which create the atmosphere of times long since past.
The North Wales / Snowdonia/Gwynedd region
The Farm is within the Snowdonia National Park. One mile outside the tourist centre of Betws y Coed. The mountains are on one side and the North Wales coast on the other . There are many visitor attractions including the Snowdon mountain range and lakes, the Castles of Conwy & Caernarfon are close to visit, and the isle of Anglesey is aprox 45 minutes by car. The most popular towns to visit are Conwy, Llandudno, Bangor and Caernarfon.
The Betws-y-Coed / Capel Garmon area

Hafod Farm is very easy to find. Located on the A 470 between Llanrwst and Batws y Coed. It is aprox 1.5 miles between both places. There are good links form Manchester airport (M56- A55- A470)
There are also train stations a mile away in Betws y Coed and Llanrwst. There is a cycle path from Llanrwst to the farm.
