Set over two floors, the accommodation comprises of a ground floor with open plan lounge/dining area complete with wood burning stove and sofa bed (for +2), as well as a separate kitchen area with two under unit bar stools. Located on the second floor is a delightful bedroom, boasting a freestanding bath with shower over and a glass privacy cubicle with WC and wash basin, as well as two single zip ‘n' link beds which can be made into a double upon request. This beautifully presented cottage also benefits from an enclosed garden with patio and furniture to the rear, accessed via 12 steep steps (unsuitable for young children).

Property has electric central heating and comprises: Open plan lounge/dining Area: With TV, DVD, sofa bed for 1 and wood burning stove and table and chairs for 4. A pretty curtain under the stairs houses the fridge/freezer and washing machine. Kitchen Area: With electric oven and hob, microwave and two under unit bar stools.

All electricity, bed linen and towels included. First basket of logs supplied.

The North Wales region

North Wales is a great combination of the family seaside resorts, which extend along its northern coastline and of course the magnificent mountains that make up Snowdonia Nation Park. Also located in this region are the very distinctive Island of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula. So visitors will find a diverse holiday destination that caters for many different types of holidays from the family beach holiday to serious climbing holidays, and lots in between. There are plenty of things to do here; walking, sailing, fishing and many indoor attractions for the children. Wildlife enthusiasts will not be disappointed, with Anglesey and the Lleyn peninsula in particular being rich in diverse mix of habitats.

Betws-y-Coed

Carrog Cottage is located in Cwm Penmachno, a lovely village enjoying a central location in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Situated in the Machno Valley, it is the perfect destination for outdoor adventure enthusiasts, with a plethora of walking, cycling, mountain biking and climbing opportunities available in and around the local area. This peaceful little village is also a perfect base for those wishing to explore some of the busier destinations in the area, such as the popular town of Betws y Coed, with its unique shops, cafes and restaurants, this pretty holiday town has plenty to entertain the visitor with. Those wishing to explore a little further a field can also take a drive to some of the many exciting coastal destinations and towns that lie on the North Wales coast, from the popular seaside resort of Llandudno to the medieval walled town of Conwy, both of which are well worth a visit for those who don't mind a bit of a drive. Whatever you decide to do, the location of Cwm Penmachno allows visitors to explore some of the best mountainous and coastal destinations in the region whilst enjoying a peaceful and idyllic setting, a truly lovely combination of qualities for a village to enjoy.
