The North Wales region
Betws y Coed is The Gateway to Snowdonia National Park. Made popular because we are so central to the regions top amenities such as The historic Castles, Waterfalls, Walking and cycling tracks, beautiful Mountains and Valley's, and some of the most Breathtaking scenery in Great Britain. Snowdon Mountain is a great draw as a challenge for walker's, Seeing the views make it so worth while.
The steam train will take those wanting a more relaxed approach to sight seeing. The area is famous for some of the best narrow gauge Steam train's to be found any where. We boast the Mountain, Highland, and Ffestiniog railways. Bodnant Gardens is considered to be amongst one of the best in the world and is just 20 minutes away. So much to do and see the list is endless so guests just keep returning.
At Tyn y Fron we are just a 7 minute picturesque walk to the village. Here can be found all you need to make your stay really memorable. We have some great restaurants where you can enjoy local fresh produce cooked at it's best, and we are happy to make reservations for you.
The shops unlike so many destination's are individual and with different quality merchandise that you would be proud to take home. If you are into activities there is bike hire and maintenance available (we have bike storage in our garage and a hose is available). Lots of walking and cycling tracks start here and many visitors never leave the immediate area they are so richly provided for. June - September we love hosting the male voice choirs in St Mary's Church, every Sunday evening. Walker's, Christmas and Artist's Festivals are held each year and it is worth visiting when they are on.
