Location: Garthfain is in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Set in a quiet position on the edge of the village of Dolwyddelan, Garthfain offers a tranquil base between the bustling tourist village of Betws y Coed and the attractions of Blaenau Ffestiniog, with the coastal towns of both Porthmadog and Llandudno only about 30 mins drive away. The village is well known for the nearby 13th Century castle, the great variety of walking routes in the area and the beautiful scenery of the Lledr valley. The railway branch line from Llandudno and Conwy through the valley stops in the village, and connects with the Ffestiniog railway in Blaenau to journey on a narrow gauge steam train to Porthmadog.
Accommodation: This traditional terraced cottage has been renovated to offer relaxed accommodation sleeping up to four people with two bedrooms, ground floor bathroom (bath with shower over) and additional ground floor cloakroom with WC and wash basin, modern kitchen-lounge-diner with log burner. There is an enclosed garden to the rear of the cottage.
Facilities include electric storage heating, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, DVD and garden furniture. Bedlinen and towels are supplied, heating and electricity are included in the price. This is a no smoking property.
