Edinburgh is a scenic train ride away for many historical places to see and festival to visit.

This easily accessible barn-conversion is located in the picturesque countryside near Berwick Upon Tweed. A short drive away from the main A1 trunk route.

The barn is ideally placed for those wishing to relax in comfortable and modern surroundings whilst being able to enjoy walks among the many rivers, hills and beaches.

The Northumberland region

East Allerdean is positioned between the east coast beaches that spread for miles and miles and the Cheviot hills that hold a wealth of country walks to suit all levels and abilities. A fantastic walking area either on the coastal paths and beaches or in the magnificent rolling hills are there for you. All local OS maps are on the book shelf in the hall, and may be used by people renting the property.

There are great pubs in both Berwick and the surounding villages just waiting for you to sample their menus and special beers. One is within walking distance of the property and is one of the best around. Information on all these are in the kitchen.

Berwick Upon Tweed has many historic sights including the walls of the town and barracks that can be visited daily, and a great Saturday market. Nearby villages sell all local produce from the farms.

"Excellent accomodation!"

Excellent accomodation, very high quality and great standard throughout. Perfectly situated for visiting the jail at Berwick and Bamburgh Castle, the beaches in the area are outstanding! Fluffy towels, well equipped and spotlessly clean throughout, very nice place to stay and would go back again in a flash! Thanks for a great holiday!

It is a pleasure to have provided quality accomodation for a family to have a great holiday.
