The complete ground floor of our luxury (Angel) Villa, which is nestled in a quiet, lush, tropical garden of approx. 1000sqm at the outskirts of the Harbor town Beruwela, is for rent. The apartment has a separate entrance and a private garden.
Even though the villa was built in 2001, the ground floor was re-designed and refurbished in 2012. All appliances are new. We, myself, Bernhard M. Fischer. a german national together with my wife Roni, a Sri Lankan and our 12yrs old son Frank are living in the first floor. We have a Great Dane and a local dog which are watching over us and the property. They are harmless to good people and children. The ground floor and the private garden are built in a way that the dog's cannot access, except you invite them. All together there are 6 rooms out of that 2 are bedrooms, 1 is equipped with a fitness running machine and ironing equipment. The bedrooms have direct access to the covered large veranda and the private garden. In the garden is a BBQ place and a waterfall shower, built of granite stones like a cabin. Through the peaceful surrounding we have lots of exotic birds like colibri, king fisher, parrot etc. which are visiting and sometimes breeding in the trees. We offer everyone family connection, but respect it if someone want to be alone. Through our experience here we can advise you where you find what you are looking for and for a reasonable price. Excursions or round tours, as well as the airport transfer can be arranged for you.
The 2 bedrooms are equipped with large concreted king size beds, concreted wall cupboard's as well as ceiling fan, air condition and a safe.
The large kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, oven, blender, toaster, cutlery and crockery as well all necessary cooking utensils. Initial mineral water is provided free of charge.
2 bathrooms with shower and wc, the larger one with hot water.
1 large living room, equipped with exclusive furniture has enough space to accommodate the (bad weather) dining area as well. Usually all meals are taken outside.
We have a flat screen tv with plenty of english satellite programmes for your entertainment.
The whole area including the garden is WiFi enabled.
Out of the lush garden, a portion of around 150sqm is reserved for our guests.
We offer laundry service as well as menu's a la carte. A washmashine is available.
Moderate usage of A/C's and Internet is included. Excessive usage has to be billed.
Amenities like mineral water, dishwash, washpowder, hand-and bodywash, toilet paper are initially provided free, but further stock have to be purchased.
The Indian ocean is just 5 minutes to walk from our doorstep. Local fishing takes place there daily. Everyone is welcome to help pulling out the nets. This help is mostly rewarded with a fish. Just another 5 minutes away from this nearest beach access is a quite beach for relaxation or sea bath. With a three wheeler (small taxi) in just 10 minutes drive the big hotels can be reached. There so called pool tickets entitles one for towels, deckchairs, pool usage and sea bath.
