End cottage;- Ground floor comprises of double bedroom with en suite, a twin bedded room and also a third smaller bedroom with bunk beds, plus a family bathroom. PLEASE NOTE the bunk beds are suitable for children age 8/9 approx.
Upstairs is open plan with raised kitchen and dining area, then a comfortable lounge with views overlooking the fields. Well equipped with everything you need for self catering, or take advantage of the onsite restaurant and bar, with evening entertainment on certain nights. Set between Keswick and Penrith the cottage makes an ideal base for walkers and cyclists. There are many attractions in and around the area The cottage is privately owned and situated in Seasons holiday resort with pool, kiddies pool, spa, sauna, steam room, gym, restaurant with terrace, bar, games facilities, pitch and putt, crazy golf, kiddies playground, dvd and video hire.Leisure facilities are owned by Seasons therefore we are not responsible for closure during maintenance periods. The village has a reception area which opens 9 am to7 pm. Whitbarrow Village is situated between Penrith and Keswick and only 10 min from Ullswater Lake, 20 min from Bassenthwaite, 20 min from Derwent Water and 40 min from Windermere (all by car) There are numerous attractions including horse riding, quad biking, steamers, sailing, walking, golf, shopping, fine dining, Aira Force waterfall, Penrith 14th century castle also football and rugby, Rheged tourist attraction with its giant cinema, World of Beatrix Potter (40 mins) Trotters World of Animals (40 mins) Check You Tube (Whitbarrow village) for short video

Golf: Golf is available at both Keswick golf course and Penrith golf course.
Pets are not allowed in the village, but a newly opened boarding kennels is less than 0.25 miles away. Berrier Boarders boast 8 new kennels with under floor heating, 35 acres where pets are walked at least 4 times a day, and if required your pet can be groomed whilst on holiday. "Great location good value but a few wrinkles."
Overall good but one receptionist was extremely rude and the wifi is a joke just not powerful enough if you wish to download anything.… More
Thank you for your review, I am extremely sorry if you received less than first class service from a receptionist, I must say that this is very rare and I can't remember having anyone say that before, as for the WiFi, again this is the Lake district and as is well known the rural area's do suffer from lack of high speed internet, I am sorry this has caused an inconvenience.

Fantastic cottage spotlessly clean absolutely great time two girls 11 & 6 loved the swimming and the entertainment in the evenings
