Ideally located, this second floor, one-bedroom flat is in a well looked after turn of the century house in the centre of East-Berlin. It has wooden floors throughout, Comfortable, charming stay in a typical traditional Berlin apartment. The apartment is very light and furnished with antiques and interesting photos.

The local area has a lot of nice cafes, family-run restaurants and bars and has a quiet familiar feel to it. Within walking distance are interesting street markets Arcona Platz and Mauerpark. Cinemas, night- and musicclubs are nearby at the Helmholtzplatz.

The Brandenburg/Berlin region

The area around Berlin has many interesting sights worthy of a trip out of the city. Potsdam, about an hour from Berlin, but reachable on the S-Bahn (overground tube system). Poland is also not far away! Just over an hour from Berlin is Frankfurt (Oder) right on the border with Poland.

A lot of fantastic lakes are around Berlin. The Brandenburg area is full of lakes and waterways, often through forested areas. The famous Spreewald area is definitely worth a visit for nature reserves.
