The Brandenburg/Berlin region
Public transport in the Berlin centre is as suitably efficient and comprehensive as you would expect in the German capital.
There are buses, an underground network (U-Bahn), and in the former east disctricts, Trams too. All run by the BVG company in it's bright yellow livery - so easy to spot!
Overground lines are part of the national network (S-Bahn and Deutsche Bahn) and will take you to the edges of Berlin and beyond, briskly and smoothly. All of which run like clockwork.
No trip to Berlin would not be complete without exploring the world famous Museum Island in Berlin located between the Spree river and the Kupfergraben. Thereis the Old New Musuems, the Pergamon and the Bode museum.
