The Berlin region
Berlin: a very exciting city of contrasts, a city for everyone. It doesn´t matter if you are interested on culture, shopping, partying, business or just relaxing, you´ll find what you need here. Berlin is one of the most dynamic cities in Europe, with a huge and vibrant cultural scene.
Countless attractions, from antique to modern, amazing architecture, museums, restaurants, cinemas, shows, theater, opera, festivals, marathons, expensive shopping temples, flea markets, gardens and castles.
You can discover the city by car, bus, metro, bicycle, segway... THIS is the city to be explored!
Charlottenburg is part of Berlin City-West. Here you are in the center of Berlin-West, where some new buildings are currently arising from the ground, but the area is still one of the quietest in Berlin.
It has a lot to be discovered, like the Zoo (one of the biggest in the world), the aquarium, the Charlottenburg Castle, the Kaiser-Wilhelm Memorial Church, the famous KaDeWe shopping mall (considered the most luxurious in Europe) and the Kurfürstendamm (called Ku´damm), the best boulevard for shopping in Berlin.

"Beautiful trendy apartment"
This apartment was beautiful, clean and in a great location (opposite the magnificent zoo). It was also very close to shops and cafes. The apartment has a small walk-in wardrobe, a beautiful bathroom, lovely kitchen and the spacious main living area contains the bed, desk and table. Very comfortable. The apartment has large windows and doors along one side with an interesting view of people swimming and sunbathing at the local health club (in various stages of undress!). We highly recommend this apartment and Igor was very welcoming and helpful. The only thing that was a bit strange was that Igor and his partner arrived at the apartment at 6.00am on the day we were leaving (without knocking) to clean! Something must have gone wrong with the booking information. It was fortunate that we were out of bed and packing because the bed is in the main living room.

We enjoyed the apartment; beautifully furnished and equipped. The owner, Igor Maskos, is a great person, met us on arrival and gave us all sort of information. The location of the apartment is "the Best"; bus stop in front; Kurfuerstendamm very close; Zoo across, Shopping right there. (We cooked most meals). Museums easy to reach by bus. We will be back! "Truly perfect Berlin Accommodation"
Home away from home- this apartment has all the luxury needed for a perfect place to stay in Berlin: tastefully decorated; newly appointed, security of a concierge, close to all transport and easy walking distance to zoo, shops and many other attractions. Will recommend it to anyone going to Berlin. Igor, the owner, met us when we arrived and gave us lots of helpful hints to make the best use of our time.

"A clean, convenient place at a great location and cost"
The building is directly across the street from the entrance to the Berliner Zoologisher Garten, about one-half kilometre (about 850 yards) east from the Zoologisher Bahnhof, (which is only about a 10-minute train ride southwest from the main Bahnhof on the S-Bahn - you have about 3 different S-Bahn trains on this route from which to choose. You can either walk from the Zoologisher Bahhof, or catch a 100 or 200 bus east from that point to the first stop. It's just east across the plaza from the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Kirche. Of course, you can pick up the 100 or 200 bus east to tour to most of the main points of interest in Berlin from this point too. The entrance is on the west side of the building facing the Kirche near the northwest corner - do not look for it on the north face (Budapesterstrasse). The apartment is clean, functional, quiet and well appointed. Wireless Internet access is really only good from the desk location, likely because of the internal building steel structure, but who cares? You can work from the desk instead of a cramped chair somewhere. A combination washer-dryer is located in the bathroom as is a hair dryer. The kitchen is compact but much better than most that I've used. It does not have an oven, but does have a three-burner cooking surface. There is also a large toaster oven, a coffee maker, refrigerator with small freezer and a microwave. There is lots of space to hang up clothes and put away suitcases in a small walk-in closet. The bed was great and we slept well. We bought a great selection of food about one third of kilometre away from Karstadt, (on the south side of Kurfurstendammstrasse). The apartment building is immediately adjacent to the Europa Centre which has a fairly reasonable selection of restaurant food available if, or when, you don't feel like cooking. It is also a secure building with a 24-hour, (attentive) concierge. There is even a narrow, (but very safe) balcony that runs almost the full length of the apartment. We would stay here again without a thought!
