The apartments are situated between Kurfürstendamm and Potsdamerplatz, between the middle of former West Berlin and the middle of former East Berlin, near Tiergarten (park) with ist recreational facilities in the trendy district of Berlin Schöneberg. If you want you can rent a parking space.

The city has no definite centre and pockets of attractions are dotted all over. The densest array of sights lies to the east of the Brandenburg Gate, on either side of Unter den Linden. West Berlin's centre has less to offer. Nevertheless visitors should take a look at the broken shard of a church, the Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche, which serves as a brutal reminder of World War II. The nearby Zoo and Aquarium also provide a happy distraction.

How to get there

Excellent public-transport is guaranteed by the underground-station of Nollendorfplatz and also various bus-lines nearby.

The night-bus-station is only 200 meters away. In less than 5 minutes walk you'll reach the KaDeWe, Berlins most famous department-store. A bakery-shop, a supermarket and a pharmacy are in the direct neighbourhood. Some well-known restaurants are just around the corner. On Saturdays the legendary streetmarket on the Winterfeldt-Platz takes place something you should not miss.

1-room-apartment:
You live in a light, comfortable one-room apartment, 38 sq. m. large on the first floor. apartment consists of a very well-furnished room with a double bed, single bed, two bedside tables, a dining-room table with dining set, a cupboard, a cable TV set, radio, CD player and cassette recorder with cupboard base unit, a kitchen and a white-tiled bathroom with bath.
The kitchen with electric cooker, oven, microwave and refrigerator makes it simple to do ones own cooking. All important utensils such as dishes, coffee machine, etc. are ones disposal. There is also a washing machine and an iron.

2-room-apartment with balcony:
This comfortable, newly renovated and bright city-apartment has 45 qm, has 2 rooms (a big and a small room), is lying in the second floor (without an elevator) contains a kitchen and a bathroom amd is furnished with double bed, 2 bed couches, coffee table, wardrobe, diningtable with 4 chairs, television, radio-CD-player. The bathroom contains a tub and water toilet. The small kitchen has a refrigerator, a stove and a washing machine. The apartment contains all important items like coffee machine, dishes, etc.

Fresh bedclothes and towels available. Pets are allowed

The apartment is situated between Kurfürstendamm and Potsdamer Platz, near the middle of West and East Berlin and near Tiergarten (Park) with its recreational areas and the embassy district. The house Winterfeldtstraße 62 is situated in one of the most favoured residential districts of Berlin, in the best part of Schöneberg, in a quiet side street with many trees, near Winterfeldt Square (Winterfeldtplatz).

Around this beautiful square there are various cafés and pubs which give this district its special attraction. There are also a remarkable number of second-hand bookshops, antique shops and other interesting shops which add to the atmosphere of this district.

On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a picturesque market on the quare which is very well-known.
The flat is also near the underground station Nollendorfplatz. (the BVG - Berlin transport board) Bus-stops connecting one to the inner-city transport system are also only a few minutes away.
The parking situation is good in comparison with most inner-city areas.
