The view over the Catalan landscape is beautiful from Casa Minúet, as you can have the distant view of the Pyrenees.
Casa minúet has 5 bedrooms: 1 single room, 3 double and 1 triple bedroom. The house is situated only 2 km. from the nearby village, where there are a small supermarkets, a bar with internet, a bakery and a restaurant.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
The house which is an authentic Catalan limestone villa, modernised with respect for the original style, is situated in the Bergueda region, where the Llobregat-river winds it is way from the mountains down toward Barcelona. The house provides a perfect base for relaxation. Read a book, take a swim in the pool and enjoy the hot summer nights on the terrace with a glass of the local cava or red wine from the nearby Penedes district.
The landscape at the entrance to the Pyrenees is dominated by small rivers, hills, fields and forest, which provides excellent conditions for a variety of sports- and outdoor activities, such as hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, angling, canoeing, river crafting or perhaps a visit to the owners farm.
Furthermore the central location in Catalonia makes every corner of province accessible in one-day excursions. From the Dali-museum in the north, the Costa Brava coastline and Barcelona in the south and further south Tarragon with its amphitheatre and universal studios amusement park for the kids. A generous and cosy region, with true cultural, gastronomical, artistic, historical, traditional and legendary treasures. Also a region for the playful who loves sport activities.
In the winther, the ski-resorts in Andorra and the Pyrenees is only a 45 minutes drive away. In the summer you can enjoy the tracks of the Pyrenees or for the adventures paragliding or climbing. The spring (march-may) in Catalonia is sunny, green and comfortable warm. The daily temp. reaches 16-22 degrees.
The autumn (Sep.-Nov) is very warm in the beginning (Sep.) with a daily average temp. reaching 27 degrees. October and November has an average temp. starting at 22 in October ending with 17 in November
Bergueda / Casseres area
Gironella: 5 km from Casa Baresa. A cosy little town at the bank of the river Llobregat. We provide a map of shops, restaurants etc.
Berga:15 km. from Casa Baresa Quite a large town on the edge of the Pyrenees, where you’ll find big supermarkets, really nice restaurants, shopping areas, and bars. It is also a very pretty town with many really good sites.
Manresa: 40 km. from Casa Baresa The largest nearby town with 66.879 inh. By experiencing the history of Manresa, you will also experience the history of Cataloniaas they both coincided in their moments of greatest splendour. Manresais a town which has been shaped by its three most intense historic moments: the might of Gothicism with its cathedral La Seu, the splendour of the Baroque with Saint Ignatius¿ sanctuary La Cova and the brilliance of modernism along its main boulevard Passeig Pere III.
Vic:40 km from Casa Baresa. A beautiful maintained historical town., also mentioned as the most Catalan town in Catalonia. Traditional Market on the Main Square: every Tuesday and Saturday in the morning (10-14) (See photo J) The town has plenty of discothèques and bars that the young ones can attend.
Barcelona, Girona and Costa Brava is all situated around 100 km. from the house. We are willing to pass on our tips regarding these cities if you should be interested.

Further details indoors: As our other properties, Casa Minuét is a registred historical house, which means that it is restored in accordance with the original style but also contains all modern facilities.
The house has three floors. The lower floor was where the animals used to live. This area has been reformed into a game hall with table football and billards.
The first floor contains the common areas: Dining area with a beautiful dining table, a sofa corner with tv and chimney, and very functional open kitchen. Additionally, there is one bedroom and one bathroom. At the second floor you find three more bedrooms sharing two bathrooms.
Further details outdoors: Outside, there is a covered terrace with barbeque, some toys for small kids and swings. In the garden, you find the pool area. As the house is situated above the landscape, the view is excellent from here.
All in all Casa Minuét provides you with a perfect base for relaxation as well as an excellent point of departure for excursions to the many activities in the area or one day trips to Barcelona or Costa Brava.

By cancellation less than 1 1/2 month before, the deposit will not be refunded. The price includes: electricity, heating, linen, towels and the final cleaning be departure.
