La Moutique is designed as family home providing separate accommodation for the owners during letting season. It has an open aspect commanding exceptional views over the surrounding landscape. Being a 20 minute drive from Bergerac airport and a 5 minute drive from the bastide town of Eymet it is uniquely placed on a quiet country road between Fonroque and Eylias a farming hamlet. Fonroque has a bakery shop and restaurant all within walking distance of the property.
La Moutique offers privacy and tranquillity in comfortable countrystyle surroundings whilst it is only 5 minutes away from Eymet a thriving market town providing every amenity necessary for an exceptional holiday. Being a family home it offers spacious accommodation and is ideal for a family holiday , sightseeing or house hunting. Guests can relax by the newly constructed pool which is for their use exclusively, explore the bastide and medieval towns or amble through the beautiful countryside. Visitors have exclusive use of the covered terrace, swimming pool and surrounding area including a specially built bar b que enabling them to enjoy outdoor living and eating in all weather conditions, our warm climate can vary between 25°-38°c in summer.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region
The bastile and medieval towns of Castillonnes, Villa Real, Issigeac and Eymet to name a few explode into life on their particular market day, when you can buy fresh locally grown and produced fruit, vegetables ,cheese , wine , arts and crafts, wine and delicacies of the region.
Regional delicacies include prunes, foie gras, magret, ceps, walnuts,duck confit. Regional wines include Bergerac, Buzet, Monbazillac, Duras, Saint Emilion, and Bordeaux. Places of interest include Bergerac, Penne d'Agenais, Sarlat, St.Foy le Grande, Miramont and Duras where the chateau, market squares , old towns and churches are well worth a visit.
Bergerac / Eymet area
Eymet is the nearest bastile town being only 5 mins drive. It has market day on a thursday and night markets from july to september on tuesday evenings. There is a very good tourist information office in the square where you can hire canoes, bikes, obtain fishing permits and book organised trips. In Eymet there is a good selection of restaurants, bars and cafes where you can linger over a long lunch or have a taste of local wine or dine a la carte in the evening.
There are a number of golf courses in the area at Tombaboeuf, Marmande and Castelnaud. Excellent local fishing by permit at local lakes and rivers.

Owners live on site in separate accommodation. Meet and greet service on your arrival with complimentary welcome pack. Change over Saturday unless otherwise arranged with owner. Rental commences 4.00pm and we would like a departure at no later than 10.30am. Pets will be considered by prior arrangement . Cots and High chairs by prior arrangement please.
