The delighful Chateau le Treillac is located in Alles sur Dordogne, in the centre of the Périgord black, equidistant from Bergerac, Périgueux and Sarlat.
Chateau le Treillac lies 2.5 miles from “Buisson de Cadouin”, 2 miles from Limeuil (one of the most beautiful villages of the region), and 5 miles from Le Bugue. It is known locally as “Le Chateau” by residents and neighbours. Chateau le Treyac has 320 square feet of living space divided equally over three floors and is situated within about 4 acres of grounds, in front of the town hall and school.
We are next to the municipal tennis courts and have private access to the river Dordogne where anglers can, at any time, indulge in their hobby or passion. The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region
The countryside is dramatic with numerous quaint towns & villages dotted throughout the region as well as countless chateaux, caves, view points & museums. Take in the markets that overflow with local produce such as foie gras, truffles, walnuts, duck & goose.
Sarlat should be explored via the cool and shady lanes & courtyards to the rear of the cathedral. The central square hosts a fantastic Saturday market for flowers, goie gras, truffles & other local produce. The prehistoric painted caves of Les Eyzies and Lascaux are very popular as a day trip. Canoeing in the Dordogne river is possible and is well suited to beginners who just want to cruise downstream for half a day soaking up the atmosphere.
Bergerac area
Our property is located in Alles sur Dordogne, in the centre of black “Périgord”, approximately equidistant from Bergerac, Périgueux and Sarlat. We are accessible by rail via Bordeaux, Libourne or Périgueux our nearest station is Le Buissson (2.5 miles). By road, it is 340 miles from Paris via Orléans, Vierzon, Limoges and Périgueux.
Bergerac is a delightful city that lies on the riverbank of the Dordogne. The old town is lovely to wander through with its medieval houses & fountains on the street corners.
Local activities include golf, tennis, horse riding and fishing.

Nearest airport: Bergerac (37km) or Périgueux (51km). Nearest train station: Le Buisson (4.5km). Nearest town: Limeuil (2.5km).

Further details indoors: Ground floor The central hallway leads of to the fully equipped kitchen that connects through to a playroom/TV room. On the other side is a living room with dining area. There is also a downstairs WC.
First floor - Master bedroom with king size bed and connecting bathroom. - Family room with double bed, single bed, child bed & washbasin in the turret. - Double bedroom with wash hand basin. - Shower-room.
Second floor - Triple bedroom with double & single bed & washbasin. - Triple bedroom with 3 single beds & washbasin. - Twin bedroom. - Double bedroom with king size bed. - 2 shower rooms, one with WC.
Please be aware that it is a family house where the owners live when it is not rented. We are happy to share with other families the privilege of living in this wonderful house for the holiday season. We have made as many alterations to improve convenience, security, and material comforts to renters as we felt it was reasonably possible to do. This house will never be a 21st century house and it is exactly the reason why we love it. Any suggestion you make to improve your stay will always be welcomed!

- Security deposit: €800. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection. - Linen & towels: €10 per person. This is paid directly to the owner prior to arrival. - Energy costs: Included in the rental price (up to 500KW per week). central heating not included. - End of stay cleaning: Included. Please leave the property in the state that you found it. - Arrival time: 5pm onwards. - Departure time: 11am. - Pets: 1 pet allowed with prior consent - please ask before booking. The Tenant must ensure that that the dog is prohibited access to the floors, the parts covered with parquet floors, the swimming pool and must respect the cleanliness of the outside area around of the Property. The Tenant will take full responsibility for damages which his animal could cause in the Property. - Smoking: No smoking in the property. - Contract: The owner has a rental contract that must be signed & returned to the owner before a booking can be confirmed.
