Home description
The house is bordered with rose, honey suckle and shrubs. The grounds are also bordered with trees, which makes it a safe and private haven for relaxing and lounging. The pool is surrounded by a large terrace and has roman steps leading to the shallow end. The pool and garden are secluded and equipped for bathing, table tennis, badminton, basket ball, sandplay, fishing and outdoor eating and barbecues. There are 3.6 hectares of woodland including 150m of Dordogne river frontage where the owners have regularly seen a pair of Kingfishers whilst fishing. You can go for long walks just in the grounds alone - look out for the mistletoe on high. The house is situated 5 minutes from Bergerac airport and town centre.

The Aquitaine / Dordogne / Dordogne region
The house is situated in Dordogne Pourpre and is only 5 mins from Bergerac the wine growing capital of the Dordogne. The countryside is green and undulating, dominated by vinyards, yellow mustard fields and orchards. The villages and towns are easily accessible and offer colourful markets, cafes and local shops and services.
Bergerac area
The 'route du vin' is a must offering plenty of caves and degustations to visit and sample the local wine. There are over 1000 chateaux in Perigord to visit. The Dordogne river itself offers many pusuits including river boat (gabarres) cruises and canoeing. There are plenty of cafes, bars and fine restaurants for those who are looking to enjoy the local gastronomie. Specialities include foie gras (duck or goose), truffles, walnuts and apples.

Further details indoors: The house is furnished with all modern comforts and warmly decorated. It is light and spacious with large windows in all rooms and a triple French window leading from the living room to the garden. The downstairs accommodation provides a large, light living room, a dining room and a reading room, with separate kitchen and utility/internal garage room. There is one double and one twin room downstaire and a bathroom and a shower room, which is convenient for elderly guests. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a large bathroom.
Further details outdoors: Le Chalet du Moulin Blanc offers excellent recreational facilities. The private fenced pool has a salt filtration system so that the water does not sting the eyes. There is plenty of garden furniture and pool equipement including baby ring, two child swimming jackets and inflatables. The sandpit and mini trampoline are a great hit with younger children. There is plenty of space for ball games including swing ball, table tennis, badminton and basket ball. There are two barbecues and table and chairs to enjoy eating en plein air.
Conditions
All prices are per week. Arrival tim: 4pm, Departure time: 10am. A deposit of 25% is required on booking wiht the final payment due 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. A damage deposit of £250 per week is also required. Prcie is inclusive of linene, bath towels, electricity and cleaning. Additional swimming pool towels should be brought by guests.
