This recently renovated property just 10 minutes from St. Foy la Grande and approximately 20 from Bergerac Town is part of the main house. Set in mature grounds of approximately 5 acres with private river frontage onto the Dordogne, this property has its own private entrance, parking and courtyard.
The Dordogne is the perfect place to unwind. With beautiful Bastide Towns steeped in history and culture, vineyards and wonderful landscapes - there is truly something for everyone. Local vineyards provide wine-tasting and walking and cycling are to be recommended. For bird watchers the property is directly under a major migration route ensuring many species to be observed.

Springtime in the Dordogne brings warm weather from around March/April gradually becoming hotter as the year progresses.
Visits to the local vineyards are a must for the wine buff especially the town of St. Emilion some 30 minutes away. St. Emillion, a Unesco World heritage site, is not only famous for wine but also has a wonderful subterranean pottery museum spanning 20 centuries of history and has many other historic buildings to see.
Bordeaux is about an hour away and is a major international city which also enjoys the status of being a Unesco Heritage Site.
The coast, Basin d'Arcachon, is under 2 hours away.
Bergerac / Ste Foy la Grande area
Canoeing, go-carting, water park and paint-balling are just some of the activities which can be found within 20 minutes of our property. Both Bergerac and St. Foy la Grande have very good markets on Saturdays and there are numerous other markets in the surrounding areas.
The surrounding towns and villages have fetes and special events all through the year which are widely advertised encouraging locals and visitors alike to attend and sample the local culture.
There are several "Lacs" which are freshwater lakes with man-made sandy beaches for swimming, water sports and nature walks within easy reach.
How to get there
Ryanair and Flybe flights are available from many UK regional airports to Bergerac Airport which is approximately 30 minutes from property. Easyjet and British Airways also fly to Bordeaux which is approximately 1 hour from property. Ryanair also fly into Limoges which is 2 hours drive from the property. Car rental is available at all airports and is easily found on the internet.
