The Brittany / Finistere region

Quimper(18 km) and its 13th – 19th century Saint-Corentin cathedral, the old districts, the Breton Regional Museum, the Fine Art Museum, earthenware factories and potteries, the Jules Verlinghe earthenware museum, the Romanesque Church, the Bishop’s Palace Garden, the theatre and much more.
Benodet area
Bénodet, with its old harbour and marina, is located at the mouth of the Odet, on the Cornouaille coast. Two lighthouses, "Le Phare du Coq" and "Le Phare de la Pyramide" (191 steps – 48 metres): a panoramic view of the coast from the Bay of Concarneau to the Eckmühl lighthouse and the Glénan Islands out at sea.
Churches: Saint-Thomas and Notre Dame de la Mer as well as Perguet Chapel. The Pont de Cornouaille: an elegant 610 m long bridge, overhanging the Odet river by 30 m with a superb view of Bénodet port, Sainte-Marine and the estuary, and the Odet upstream.
