The Valenciana region
This region stretches from Valencia, the city that invented paella and is proud of it's tapas, stages Las Fallas – Europe's wildest spring festival – and is home to a 22nd-century city of Arts and Sciences, south to the city of Alicante, a bustling, bright port and holiday city with vibrant night life.
The coastline boasts some of the Spain's finest beaches, as well as pleasant natural features such as La Albufera – a freshwater lake famous for it's bird life, eels, flat bottomed boats and surrounding paella restaurants – and charming towns such as Altea – one of the prettiest little pueblos on the Valencian coastline – as well as the tourist Mecca of Benidorm with it's superb beaches and fantastic nightlife.
Along the Costa Blanca, the White Coast – you will find some of Spain's most popular beach resorts including Javea, Gandia, Oliva, Denia, Moraira, Altea, Benissa and Calpe offering great beaches, excellent sports activities, lovely marinas and fishing ports surrounded by restaurants and bars serving some of the best of Spain's traditional cuisine.
Benissa is a small town in Spain in the province of Alicante, 275 m above sea level, and one of the oldest towns on the Costa Blanca.
The municipality of Benissa has 4 km of coastline linking the towns of Moraira and Calp. The scenery of the area includes cliff tops, rocky coves, sandy beaches and tiny bays along the Benissa Costa. The territory of Benissa also contains terraced vineyards, mountains and palm trees. Spanish village houses, with doorsteps directly onto the street, internal courtyards and deceptively spacious inside. Old finques (a farm or country estate) sit on large plots amongst vineyards with panoramic views to the sea.
The nearest beaches by road are approximately 11 kilometres away and the seaside towns of Calpe (to the south) and Moraira (to the north east) are approximately 12 kilometres distance.

"This is a gem of a property"
Casa Lienes is quite unique, providing the charm of a well kept 150 year old property, a semi rural location, that is close the Denia, Moraira (10 minutes), Javea, Calpe and the beaches/coves along that coastline, plus also the hillside villages to the north west. It is well presented, with a comprehensive inventory and operated by an owner who is customer centric. No one provides a welcome pack to beat hers, towels for every occaision or unobtrusively (via text) updates on events in the area during your stay. What made Casa Liennes particularly special was its out door space. The terrace, large (28 degree) pool, the surrounding area of garden and gazebos (each with their individual atmosphere), is hard to beat. We are looking forward to returning.

"Outstanding rustic Spanish Finca set within a lovely valley."
Property was extremely clean & well presented with amazing Spanish feel. We felt we were living a real Spanish life within this beautiful countryside away from all the huslte & bustle of the everday city life. However only a short 15 min car journey on a lovely scenic view to us to local shops, markets, restuarants, bars & some of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Blanca. I have just arrived back in the UK after visiting this wonderful finca for a third time with 5 friends & we all hope to return & holiday again here next year.

"An amazing villa set in a beautiful quiet valley"
Our family has just spent a wonderful week at Casa Llenes. It is situated in a stunning spot overlooking an unspoilt valley full of vines. There is a lovely pool set in beautiful gardens full of fruit trees and flowers. Our kids loved the pool, but also loved the beaches at Benissa which are only a short drive away. The inside of the house is spacious and well furnished - it is an old finca so bags of character. There are loads of beautiful outside shaded areas to sit and read, or just take in the view. We have stayed in about 10 villas in Spain and France over the years and this one is by far the best, it really does have everything. Garden has a security fence available so that if you have young non-swimming children, they can be kept safely away from the pool but still able to play out on the patio.

"Amazing, peaceful Property!!"
I have just returned from an amazing week at Casa Llenes and cannot recommend it enough!! The finca is situated in a peaceful location, from the moment we arrived we had the WOW factor. The property has everything you could want from the beautiful pool (which my children spent all day in) to many shaded seating areas in the gardens. In the evening there are lots of pretty lights which illuminate the garden. We spent most evenings on the terrace having family meals and sitting out late chatting and enjoying our wine!! There is a great BBQ area and also an outdoor kitchen with toilet facilities which was so handy to make up drinks and snacks when at the pool. There is also an outdoor shower, we showered the kids every evening in it for easiness (they thought it was great fun)!! The indoor kitchen has everything you could possibly need for cooking and the indoor livingrooms are lovely to sit and relax, reading or watching a film. The bedrooms are all lovely, beds very comfortable and lots of wardrobe and drawer space. We travelled from the finca to Calpe (10 minutes in the car) where there is a lovely beach with lots of fun water activities including pedalos which we used and also a Total Wipeout type activity on the sea, which we and the kids loved. Nice cafes and bars on the beach front. We also travelled to Moraira (10 minutes in the car) we had a picnic on the beach one evening which was lovely. There is a nice marina with great cafe's, bars and restaurants. We also visited the night market which was good. We are definitely going to return to Casa Llenes either later this year or next year. It has everything you could possibly want for a Holiday rental property.
