About the home

Located just a short walk from the popular Sierra Cortina Spa Resort, our lovely house is in a quiet cul de sac just a short drive from Benidorm with its award winning beaches, shopping and lively entertainment. The theme parks of Terra Mitica and Terra Natura are also close by as are the water parks and shopping facilities at La Marina Shopping Centre.

The house is spacious, on four floors with private garden, roof terrace and is beautifully furnished throughout. There are large rooms and bedrooms with terraces, sea views, pool views and views of the mountains behind.

The front door of the house leads to a wide mezzanine hallway with a useful guests cloakroom. Stairs take you down to the air conditioned lounge and dining room which has doors opening to the garden. There is a sofa bed in the lounge for additional guests as well as comfortable sofas, satellite TV and a dining table seating 6 people.

The kitchen is also large and well fitted with lots of cupboard space and appliances including dishwasher and fridge freezer and the separate utility room houses the washing machine. Stairs lead up to the middle floor where there are three large air conditioned bedrooms all with terrace and fitted wardrobes.

The front bedroom terrace has lovely sea views and views of the swimming pool and the spacious master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, there is also a family bathroom on this floor. A further staircase goes up to the roof terrace which is furnished and very private and again has sea and mountain views.

Further details outdoors:
The garden is split into three levels. The upper level which leads from the lounge is furnished and also has a BBQ for you to enjoy. There is a lower level which has a gate leading to the pool and down again to a private area which has a lovely water feature.

The communal swimming pool is a lovely lagoon style and there is plenty of grass area to soak up the sun. You will also find tennis courts for your enjoyment. Parking available on the street.

Further details

We are able to provide you with extra services during your stay, if you require bicycle or car hire, airport transfers, baby equipment including push chairs, cots and high chairs, safe or hair-dryer, please let us know and we will be happy to arrange these for you. We can arrange grocery packs for your arrival as well as special occasion flowers, chocolates and champagne, we also have discounts available on local shows and attractions and why not book our chef to come to the house and cook you traditional Spanish tapas and paella or to organise and cook you a BBQ.

A 20% (250 euro minimum)deposit will secure your booking with the balance payable 56 days before the start of your holiday. Payment can be made by debit or credit card or bank transfer. We will request a 350euro damage deposit which will be returned once your holiday is completed. Bed linen and towels are provided, a small charge is made for the laundry, please ask for details.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The nearest Airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive/AP7 motorway will bring you to the property. The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the site and smell is incredible.

Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays. In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire to celebrate the night of St Juan should not be missed and the province of Alicante is known for staging the best Hogeras festival

The Benidorm / Golf Bahia area

Benidorm is within a 10 minute drive of this property which offers beautiful award winning beaches, bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment, there is something to suit all ages. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Natura are very close to this property as is the golf course Villa Aitana. Other golf courses are within easy reach in well under an hour.

Other coastal towns within easy reach are Villajoiosa known for its colourful buildings, Albir and the historic town of Altea with its old style typically white painted houses, church and town square where you can find gift and craft shops, artists and restaurants. Inland are other great towns to enjoy as well as the mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing. Many coastal towns have fishing ports where the restaurants sell the fish caught that day. Finestrat is a lovely small village, very popular with local Spanish people and tourists as is the beach of La Cala de Finestrat. The development of Sierra Cortina itself has just opened a Spa centre with health treatments, indoor pool, tennis and paddle courts and cafeteria. There is a restaurant and 18 hole pitch and putt course within walking distance. Mountaineering, horse riding, karting and many other activities can also be done locally. We are also able to organise any activity that you need from balloon flights, helicopter rides, jeep safari, quad bike hire, jet skiing, nordik walking and paint ball .............. just tell us what you require

Nearest airport Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to junction 65A (approximately 45 minutes) the property is approximately 5 minutes from junction 65A following the signs to Finestrat and the Terra Mitica Theme Park. Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and the nearest station is the La Marina Shopping Centre station. The property would be approximately 15 to 20 minutes on foot from here. We are happy to help you with airport transfers and car hire, book a car door to door from just 60€ for 4 people including luggage.

“beautiful setting , pity the villa was not up to cleaning standards.” We have already left our review with the holiday letting people in Spain. The area is lovely and the district, we go there at least twice a year. First time in this villa. Size was great but the place needed a really good clean. Cobwebs on lamps and below tables. Settee was sticky and filthy, covering on other setees were filthy. Felt I had to wash the dishes before using them. A few paint jobs need doing. Above the bath someone had filled in holes and had not painted over them making it look just awful. There was a mass of something sticky on the floor beside my bed so your cleaner has not even noticed this. This is the first time I have had to complain in ten years. Not a good review for the villa.
