The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The nearest Airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive/AP7 motorway will bring you to the property. The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the site and smell is incredible.
Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays. In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire to celebrate the night of St Juan should not be missed and the province of Alicante is known for staging the best Hogeras festival
Benidorm / Sierra Cortina area
Benidorm is within a 10 minute drive of this property which offers beautiful award winning beaches, bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment, there is something to suit all ages. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Natura are very close to this property as is the golf course Real de Faula. Other golf courses are within easy reach in well under an hour.
Other coastal towns within easy reach are Villajoiosa known for its colourful buildings, Albir and the historic town of Altea with its old style typically white painted houses, church and town square where you can find gift and craft shops, artists and restaurants. Inland are other great towns to enjoy as well as the mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing.
Many coastal towns have fishing ports where the restaurants sell the fish caught that day. Finestrat is a lovely small village, very popular with local Spanish people and tourists as is the beach of La Cala de Finestrat. The development of Sierra Cortina itself has just opened a Spa centre with health treatments, indoor pool, tennis and paddle courts and cafeteria. There is a restaurant and 18 hole pitch and putt course within walking distance. Mountaineering, horse riding, karting and many other activities can also be done locally.

How to get there
Nearest airport Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to junction 65 (approximately 45 minutes) the property is approximately 5 minutes from junction 65A following the signs to Finestrat and the Terra Mitica Theme Park.
Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and the nearest station is the La Marina station. The property would be approximately 15 to 20 minutes on foot from here.

Further details indoors: This lovely apartment is furnished to the highest standards with comfortable and modern furniture and accessories. There is a TV with communal satellite giving multi language channels. Sliding doors leading from the lounge open to the large terrace and private garden which has views of the pools and great views of the sea through to Peacock Island and the skyline of Benidorm. There is a dining area seating 6 and a breakfast bar from the kitchen equipped with bar stools. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need and all appliances including dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine. The master bedroom has a door leading out to the terrace and there is plenty of wardrobe space to be found in the dressing area. There is a sumptuous en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower over. A twin room is well furnished, again with wardrobes and there is a family bathroom with hydromassage shower over the bath.
Further details outdoors: The doors from the lounge open onto a very big terrace, ideal for dining Al Fresco or relaxing. There is also a large private garden to enjoy. The terrace and garden are furnished with table and chairs and sun loungers. There is access to the large communal gardens, well planted with tropical palms and 4 lagoon style swimming pools to enjoy.

Air conditioning is provided via a coin operated meter providing approximately 1 hour 30 minutes for 1€. Highchair, cot, safe, bicycles, hairdryer, pushchair, boat etc are all available with this property but must be pre-booked. A 20% (250 euro minimum)deposit will secure your booking with the balance payable 56 days before the start of your holiday. Payment can be made by debit or credit card or bank transfer. We will request a 250euro damage deposit which will be returned once your holiday is completed. We also charge a small departure clean and laundry fee, please ask for details.
Conditions
Please may we request smoking in the outside areas of this property only. We are able to provide "welcome" grocery packs, special occasion flowers and champagne or anything else you require to make your holiday perfect.
