This stunning villa is located at the base of a mountain and surrounded by lush, landscaped gardens with a lawn and artificial river stocked with hundreds of Koi - a haven of tranquillity for nature lovers, walkers or anyone wanting peace and quiet in the sun. With two pools, a small gym, two barbecue areas, an exceptional kitchen, several outdoor eating areas as well as a luxury dining room fully equipped for ten people, there is little need to leave the property!
But within 8 kms. lies the cosmopolitan town of Benidorm with night clubs, beaches, bars and restaurants, or 4 great theme parks, Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia and Mundomar. The quiet but up market town and beach of Albir and the picturesque old Spanish town and fishing port of Altea are both 6 kms. away, providing all manner of water sports and golf or even cricket! This villa is truly the place to suit every whim, from walking to dancing, sunbathing to swimming, bird watching to go karts, everything is on the doorstep.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The famous town of Benidorm has been a favourite holiday destination for Brits since the 1960's. Famed for its night life the area also holds a wealth of hidden gems. The Costa Blanca has it all which accounts for its huge popularity fifty two weeks of the year.
The Benidorm / La Nucia area
La Nucia (Valencian pronunciation: [la nuˈsi.a]) is a municipality in the comarca of Marina Baixa, Alicante, Valencia, Spain. It borders the municipalities Altea, Callosa d'En Sarrià, Benidorm, Polop and L'Alfàs del Pi.
La Nucia is located in a fruit valley between Benidorm and Callosa d'En Sarrià, 3 km from the coast of Altea. The urban center is on a promontory overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, 51 km north of Alicante and 8 km north of Benidorm.
The municipality includes the following towns: Barranco Hondo, Coloma, Bello Horizonte, and El Tossal.
The name derives from the Arabic word Naziha ("delicious"). It was given by the king James I of Aragon to Beltran de Bellpuig. At the beginning of the seventeenth century, it formed part of the barony of Benidorm and belonged to Alfonso Fajardo, Baron of Polop, of the house of Fajardo de Mendoza.
La Nucia became an independent municipality in 1705, after splitting from the barony of Polop. The parish church, dedicated to La Immaculada Concepció (Immaculate Conception), was constructed in the 18th century.
Local Theme Parks
While you are staying in Benidorm it is a must to visit some of the theme parks which are all within easy driving distance of the villa. We have activities to suit every age from The Inferno where you will you endure the feeling of being launched at 60 km an hour, going up, forward, upside-down, spinning like a ball? To the gentler wave pool at Aqualandia where you can bask in the sun with waves lapping around you.

TERRA MITICA – Discover all that’s hidden on the Mediterranean shores. Egypt, Greece, Rome and The Islands, thousands of years converted into moments of fun, emotion and adrenalin.
Do you know what adrenalin is? You don’t need to. The most important thing you need to know is that here you will find so many rides you won’t have enough breath to do them all.
This theme park is the largest on the coast and you will find excitement for all ages.
There are cafes and restaurants throughout the park (all air-conditioned) to suit all budgets.
A spectacular day out that must not be missed!
TERRA NATURA: Experience a dream journey through one of Europe’s biggest and most fascinating nature parks where you can see over 1,500 animals from all over the world. Then why not cool off in Terra Natura’s Water Park.
AQUALANDIA: Largest water park in Europe, it offers fun and excitement including the famous Kamikaze slide for those daredevils, travel at great speed and enjoy the splash at the end (hold on to those trunks and bikini tops!!!!)
You can also enjoy a more sedate swim in the lazy river or enjoy one of the many restaurants and bars.
Aqualandia offers something for every age group.
MUNDMAR: A tropical paradise and exotic marine park. Why not try the Dolphin Experience where you get a chance to get up close and personal!!!!
Boat Trips: Cruise the coast line enjoying spectacular views of the Sierra Helada mountain range, the bays of Albir and Altea Port with the millionaire yachts as well as beautiful coves and beaches.
Jeep Safari: Explore the mountains and valleys in a 4 x 4. An adventure off the beaten track. Discover hidden villages and the spectacular water falls at Algar. Lunch included.
Medieval Night: Go back 400 years in time to the castle of the Count of Alfaz. See a spectacular display of horseback jousting. Wine and dine in medieval splendour.

The town of La Nucia is an old Spanish town which in the last ten years has grown in size and popularity with foreigners. The once sleepy village now boasts a huge sports complex with indoor pool and football pitches, a brand new medical centre, outdoor auditorium for concerts as well as several large supermarkets and a wealth restaurants including Spanish, Italian, Chinese etc. A big attraction is a huge "Rastro" (Car boot sale) which fills the streets and car parks every week.

There are several budget airlines from Britain flying to Alicante, Monach, Easy-jet, BMI Baby, Ryanair, Thomson, Flybe, Jet 2.
At Alicante Airport there are numerous Car Hire Companies, Hetz, Avis, Europcar, Victoria, Sixt and many more.
To the Villa; Leave the Airport follow the Blue signs for A7 Benidorm/Valencia then follow AP7 which leads toll (Peaje) come off the toll road at junction 65A signposted Benidorm/Terra Mitica. (Cost of toll € 2.75)
Follow sign CV-70 La Nucia. Join the CV-70 direction La Nucia. Keep straight on over several islands with fountains until Island No.1 (Retonda 1) go completely round this island coming back along the same road and take the first road right - Convient de la Monjes after approx. 1 km. go over a small island, then in 200 meters there is a fork in the road, fork right and follow the unmade road to the 4th. gate on the right, number 14/10.

We went back to the villa with friends after thoroughly enjoying our first stay at the villa. We was overwhelmed by the hospitality shown to us on arrival. The pools were not heated but did not need to be as the weather was truly amazing and the pool water was still very warm. Needless to say, we have booked again for March and will again for next September. Everyone involved through booking and beyond have been very responsive and make you feel like your visit is valued. Well done to all of you and Thanks yet again. See you in March. |
