Home description

The detached villa is all on one level with private garden and pool is just a short distance from the beach resort of Albir. The town of Albir offers lots to do with shops, banks, restaurants, bars and a lovely promenade and beach. There is a regular bus service from Albir to the lively resort of Benidorm with its award winning beaches and professional year round entertainment. Other towns to visit include Altea with lovely cobbled streets and Alfaz del Pi. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Terra Natura and Aqualandia are also nearby.
The villa itself has 2 bedrooms both with double beds. There is an additional small single room should a 5th guests be required. The pool has lots of area around for dining and soaking up the sun and there is a roof terrace.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The nearest Airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive using the AP7 motorway will bring you to the property. The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the sight and smell is incredible. Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays. In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire to celebrate the night of St Juan should not be missed and the province of Alicante is known for staging the best Hogeras festival. The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is just 45 minutes by car or can be reached via a coastal train ride and has a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by the locals who sit and watch the people pass by. The Santa Barbara castle is wonderfully lit at night and is host to the many concerts and firework displays to mark celebtations throughout the year. A fabulous marina with yachts and visiting cruise ships and typically spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food. The resort and the beach town of Altea has a picturesque old town with white washed houses and a beautiful old church nestled amongst antique, craft and art shops. Just 10 minutes south is the lively resort of Benidorm with its wonderful beaches Poniente and Levante, in Benidorm you will find something to do for all ages, all through the year. Nearby,is the town of Villajoyosa with its bright painted houses, painted this way it is said so that the fisherman can see their homes when out at sea.

Benidorm / Alfas del Pi area

Albir is a popular resort all year round with lots of restaurants, shops, café bars and supermarkets. Every Friday there is a local market at the neighbouring town of Alfaz del Pi where you can purchase locally grown fruit and vegetables as well as local crafts. Albir is also famous for its summer film Festival where a huge screen is erected on the beach and a variety of films are shown to all. Well placed for the N332 or Ap7 roads means that the other towns and villages are easily reached, there is also a regular bus service linking the towns. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Natura are very close to this property as is the golf course Real de Faula or Don Cayo. Other golf courses are within easy reach in well under an hour. Inland are other great towns to enjoy as well as the mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing. . Many coastal towns have fishing ports where the restaurants sell the fish caught that day. Mountaineering, horse riding, karting and many other activities can all be done locally. We are also able to organise any activity that you would like to try from balloon flights, helicopter rides, jeep safari, quad bike hire, jet skiing, nordik walking and paint ball .............. just tell us what you require and let us organise it for you.

How to get there

Nearest airport Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to junction 65 (approximately 45 mintues) the property is then approximately 10 mintues from junction 65 following the signs to Alfaz del Pi on the N332. Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and the nearest station is Alfaz del Pi, you will need to take a short taxi drive from this station. An airport transfer taking you door to door can be arranged as can daily or weekly car rental. Flights into Valencia airport will give you a drive of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, again following the AP7 motorway until you reach junction 65.

The entrance leads to the lounge which has an open woodburning fire, comfortable sofa´s and full satellite TV providing free to view channels. Guests are welcome to bring their own viewing card for additional channels. The dining room has glass doors and windows to two sides overlooking the pool and terraced garden. There are two double bedrooms both with double beds and fitted wardrobes and a modern bathroom suite with shower over the bath. The main bedroom has doors leading to the garden and pool area.
An additional small room has a single bed which can accommodate an additional guest if required however there is no wardrobe in this room.
The kitchen is well equipped with plates, glasses, cooking equipment etc and appliances are included. Please note there is not a washing machine at the villa for guests use although a laundry service can be booked if required.

Further details outdoors:
A high brick wall and large gates makes this villa very private. There is lots of parking on a gravelled driveway. To the rear of the property, walls again make this very private. There is a private pool which is fully maintained. There are lots of areas for dining al-fresco or for soaking up the sun and loungers are provided. Steps lead up to a roof terrace which can provide an additional seating area.

Please note: Baby equipment including cots and high chairs, safe, hairdryer are available at the property but must be pre-booked. Bicycles, cars and boats can be hired by the day or by the week. We also offer welcome food hampers, special occasion hampers, airport transfers, car hire, and much more. Please ask us for information on the service you need to make your holiday perfect.

Conditions

A 20% (250 euro minimum)deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance payable within 8 weeks of the start of your holiday. A 500€ damage deposit will also be required. All linen and towels are provided (but not towels for use around the pool) however we make a small charge for cleaning and laundry on your departure, please ask us for details.
