The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca offers all round sunshine and a warm climate. Very little rainfall affects this region which makes this coast an ideal all year round resort favoured by all ages. The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is just 40 minutes by car and has a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by the locals who sit and watch the people pass by. The Santa Barbara castle is wonderfully lit at night and is host to the many firework displays to mark fiestas and celebrations throughout the year. A fabulous marina with yachts and visiting cruise ships can be found and typically spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food. The town of Altea 20 minutes north, has a picturesque old town with white washed houses and a beautiful old church nestled amongst cobbled streets filled with antique, craft and art shops. Moving inland from this villa there are superb mountainside towns to be explored, steeped in history, waterfalls, and the orange and lemon groves that spring up on the roadsides, not to be missed the Callosa falls where you can swim under the waterfalls and in the crystal clear lagoons. Also Guadalest, a mountain top village steeped in history and a favourite with tourists.
Benidorm / Villajoyosa area
Villajoyosa is a very picturesque town with a lovely large marina and long promenades with lots of restaurants and café bars its name is literally translated to mean joyful or happy town. The brightly coloured houses were painted that way so that they could be seen by the locals while out at sea in their fishing boats. The town has much to offer with plenty of shopping and restaurants. The busy fishing port, is complemented by wide bays and inlets - with calm, clear waters making it perfect to learn to windsurf or scuba dive. There are beaches within 1km walk of this villa, there is also a naturist beach nearby. A bus service runs into the town and the bus stop is just a few hundred yards away, there is also a train station in the town with service to Alicante in the South and Denia to the north, stopping at most of the coastal towns along the way. There is also a bus service from the town. All along this coastal area are lovely beaches and small coves to be explored. The all year round lively resort of Benidorm is a favourite for all ages, it has everything to offer from fantastic restaurants, great shopping, professional entertainment and Blue Flag award winning beaches. Benidorm can be reached by car in just a few minutes or by train or bus. The theme parks of Terra Mitica and Terra Natura are just 10 minutes away by car and other places to enjoy include the water theme parks of Aqualandia and Agua Natura and for animal lovers, Mundo Mar. Golfers will find the area ideal and this villa is located within an hours drive of at least 9 superb courses. The villa is located approximately 2km from the town of Villajoyosa and close to the 5* Montiboli Hotel where you can find restaurants and gym facilities, tennis and spa treatments. The villa is in a quiet area, completely private with fantastic views to the sea. An ideal place for a relaxing retreat but not too far away to enjoy all that the Costa Blanca has to offer.
How to get there
The most local airport is Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to junction 66 (approximately 35 minutes) the property is approximately 10 mintues from this juction following the signs to Villajoyosa on the N332. Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and there is a train station at Villajoyosa, you will need to take a short taxi drive from this station. An airport transfer taking you door to door can be arranged as can daily or weekly car rental. The airport of Valencia is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from this villa and Murcia airport would take approximately 2 hours.

Further details indoors: The front of the property is impressive standing in an elevated position with steps leading to the front door. A large and lavish hallway leads you to the lounge with comfortable seating and open woodburning fireplace. Double doors open from this room to a covered and fully furnished terrace which also leads to the pool area. The dining hall is impressive and seats 10 people. There is a separate TV lounge with large flat screen TV and internet access, note for a full occupancy of 10 people there will be two single beds in this room. The kitchen is well fitted with all appliances and well equipped throughout. On this floor there is also a full bathroom. Upstairs there is a large double room with built in wardrobes and door leading to a large roof terrace with sea views. The master suite is impressive and beautifully furnished with large doublebed and built in wardrobes, safe and double doors which open to a long furnished terrace which again has fantastic sea views. There is also a wonderful large, mirrored en-suite bathroom with double vanity sinks and a hydromassage shower over the bath. The third bedroom is a twin room with built in wardrobes and a wall of mirrors to one side. The landing gives access to the rear terraced garden. There is a modern family bathroom with shower over the bath also on this floor. The apartment is completely self contained with its own access. Here you will find twin beds in a lovely light room with window looking to the sea. There are bar stools to a breakfast bar and fully equipped kitchen with appliances. The apartment is also equipped with a modern shower room. Throughout the main house and apartment radiator heating is installed and all bedrooms have air conditioning units. Both the main house and apartment are fitted with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, fire blankets and first aid box for the safety of you and your guests.
Further details outdoors: The villa occupies an elevated position and stands beautifully in its plot. Steps lead from the entrance gates past well stocked garden areas filled with tropical plants and fruit trees. There is a large open terrace area with seating and a table tennis table for you to enjoy. The separate apartment is accessed from this level. A few more steps up leads you to the magnificent infinity pool which seems to just flow into the sea below, the jacuzzi spa is also in this area. There is plenty of space to soak up the sun around the pool area and loungers are provided. From the pool terrace you can access the long covered terrace that is located off the lounge. Here a large table and 6 chairs are provided together with a sofa. A large covered and shady terrace area leads from the kitchen which has table and chairs and additional tiled seating areas to the sides. From here a gate leads to the terraced rear garden. An outside kitchen/BBQ area also compliments this zone where you will also find a further shower room and utility area with washing machine and dryer. There is a large roof terrace leading from the second bedroom in the main house and the landing also gives access to the rear garden. The terrace leading from the main bedroom is wonderful and long and is also furnished. There is a garage for secure car parking and additional parking is available outside of the villa. There are plenty of beaches to choose from, the nearest is approximately 1km from the villa. A naturist beach is also available close to the villa.
Further details
Special offers on 2 weeks or more booking between October and April. There are additional fold-up beds available should they be required for the maximum occupancy of 10 people but these must be pre-ordered and will be placed in the TV lounge. Travel cots and highchairs can be provided if required together with puschairs, bicycles, airport transfers and anything else that you may require.

A 20% deposit (minimum 250 euros) will secure your dates with the balance payable 56 days before you travel. A 500 euro damage deposit refundable after your stay will be required. All bed linen and towels are provided, a small per person charge is made for the laundry on departure, details on request.
