Bellavista is part of the prize winning Seirra Cortinas resort; a gated community with two pools and tennis court. Situated between Benidorm and the old mountain village of Finestrat, it is great place to discover the buzz of Benidorm, the charm of old Spain and the natural beauty of the mountains behind and unspoilt coast lines that flank the Blue Flag beaches of Benidorm. Alicante and Valencia International airports offer low cost flights from many destinations.
The open plan ground floor design gives a light and spacious feeling to the living area. The kitchen is very well equipped and includes a dishwasher and we have had compliments from our French guests who first check the kitchen before anything else in the house. Although the area is known for summer sun the winters are mild and with the log fire lit it is very cozy in winter. Upstairs the 2 large bedrooms have balconies, the double bedroom has a king size bed and the large balcony is a great place to watch the sun set and reflect. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a small terrace. The lounge has a comfortable double sofa-bed if needed.
Bellavista offers a great holiday for beach/poolside relaxers, energetic outdoor people and total party-goers; it's all here!

About this location
The Valenciana region
The traditional area for winter sun, the Costa Blanca may be named because of its great beaches or because of the almond blossoms in late winter. The area boasts the highest number of Spanish tourists, the most visited village in Spain (Guadalest), Font's D 'Algar waterfalls and cool rock pools for summer bathing, caves and mountains. Benidorm with its varied night life, clubs that compete with Ibiza, variety shows from stand up comedy to live music really does have something for all. The Marina Baixa has quieter resorts: Calpe with it's working fishing fleet ensures great seafood meals, Moraira with its small coves and beaches, Denia has a working port and the bustle that accompanies maritime movement. The Marina Alta has perched villages galore with traditional orange groves and amazing fiestas. Alicante city has museums and a stunning fortress.
The local area within a half hour drive has the following all year round: 2 full sized golf courses, a putting green and crazy golf.
Numerous restaurants from 5€ to 100€ a head and many with themes; Benidorm Palace has internationally renowned stars and others have live music, jousting shows and even a drag show.
Terra Mitica is a large theme park with roller coasters and other fun or fear-filled rides and do not worry when you arrive if you think you are in Egypt as the themes here are countries. Terra Natura is where you see the animals and not the barriers between them so enjoying a feeling of closeness with nature; there are 50 species on the extremely endangered extinction list.. Aqualandia has 20 water rides and experiences, from adrenalin dives to calm waters. Mundomar sea world has dolphins, a parrot show, flamingos, turtles, sea lions and a bat cave.
A local adventuring company can offer you sailing, moonlight safaris, diving, climbing, jeep safaris, catamaran and biking experiences where they drive you up and you nearly fly down the mountains. The sea offers organized boat trips, the marina at Villajoyosa has boats for hire (permits needed for some).
For the food lovers: museums of olive oil, chocolate and turron making.
There are 4 local markets a week and a large commercial centre with internationally known shops.
The fiestas during the summer are numerous, the Moors and Christians starting May and finishing June.
