A fully furnished top floor apartment with balcony overlooking the large swiminmg pool (full time life guard in summer period ) Ideal location for familes or couples of all ages in a safe and clean enviroment. This resort is popular with the locals ( best recommendation !). You can enjoy the water parks, shopping, restaurants and buzzing nightlife of nearby Benidorm (20 minutes bus ride, 0.90 cents p/p) or you can enjoy the more relaxed atmosphere of La Cala Finistrat with it's own selection of fine restaurants and bars, many of them located around the sandy bay, during the summer regular entertainment is provided by means of festivals,bands and an evening market. 10 Minutes drive away is the large theme parks of Terra Mittica, and newly opened Terra Natural.

Inland there are beautiful moutain ranges which make great climbing and walking holidays and are very popular with cyclists.All around are orange, lemon and almond groves,Tiny little villages perched on hillsides or tucked away in valleys.Huge areas of parklands and woods.Try the local wines in the jalon valley, and of course paella, valencia being the home of this famous dish.
Benidorm / Cala de Finestrat area
If the thought of english pubs and food does not appeal to you, then visit the old benidorm, with its narrow streets and walkways, stroll in the evenings with the throngs of spanish people of all ages, enjoy the many Tapas bars. the new Benidorm is there for you to party, with vast amounts of bars and discos, open to early hours, you choose ! For a different family night out try the Benidorm Palace, which offers a spectacular cabaret and meal ( meal optional but worth it, dress code is smart, definitely no tee shirts or shorts ) tickets available everywhere. The Famous medievil Guadalest village up in the moutains is very pretty, with spectacular views, ( little torture museuem worth a visit before the climb into the village). Bays of Altea & Calpe worth visiting and do not get as busy as the beaches in Benidorm. Denia has nice long sandy beaches.Water park - Aqualandia, great day out for childeren and adults,have water slides etc for all different ages, is situated just outside of Benidorm centre and is very well signposted, also next door is Mundomar (animal park))again a great place to visit , with it's most famous attraction being the dolphin and seal shows(would not try to combine these together in one day, allow day for water park and 4-5 hours for Mundomar. The Terra Mittica theme park is definitely a full day (and evening if you have the stamina ! ), great rides (some wet !) and a great alternative to the Euro Disney park, plenty of restaurants and snack counters available.TIP ! watch out for special offers at Carrefour or reps handing out leaflets etc as these will very often have discounts on them saving 20-30% on entrance prices.Also you can just buy an evening ticket (check closing times, varies throughout season, open till midnight during height ). For the more adventurous, scuba diving, climbing, jeep safaris etc. Festivals are a constant theme with a great one in la Cala, june 24th la juan which takes place on the beach with a fantastic fireworks display, spanish familes take wine and food around 7pm, just find a place to sit everyone is made welcome, great atmosphere. At La calla you will find some great traditional restaurants around the bay, with some of the best seafood paella, you can also get menu of the day, 3 -4 courses inc wine for 8-9 euros p.p. For people with a more english palate, there is a good choice offering something for everyone. Chinese restaurants offer great value.
How to get there
40 minutes drive from Alicante Airport, which is serviced by all airlines, very competative car hire available at airport ( can supply website details of a broker service who deal with local english speaking companies, only pay for car on arrival, no upfront costs,). Taxi service available approximate cost 60-70 euros (each way). Bus service available runs 4 x times a day to Benidorm ( 8x in june-aug) 7 euros p/p. On arrival at agua Viva my friend Pat will be there to greet you and hand over an apartment key.

Further details indoors: Enjoy the comfort of our home, with all linen and towels (not beach) provided.The apartment is furnished to a high standard with a dining table and 4 x chairs inside, along with 2 x sofa's and outside a further table and chairs located on the balcony, which over looks the large pool. A tv is provided with a separate dvd player and cd/radio. Each bedroom has it's own ceiling fan, in addition to the existing air conditioning system located in the main living area.
Further details outdoors: The large pool is cleaned daily and the surrounding grounds are maintained to a high standard, access to the pool is between 11.00am to 9.00pm. immediately outside the complex is the bus stop for Benidorm, the large indoor shopping mall ( Marina Centre) and various supermarkets including the huge Carrefour. Next to the bus stop is a bank with cash point, and then a selection of Caffes and bars, serving local Tapas etc, beyond which you will see the sea and beach ( approx 500 meters), across the road is a small shop supplying basic items and also a pizza house which offers a takeaway service for a nice relaxing evening in spent on your balcony.
Further details
Price includes all electrical usage and before arrival, the cleaning of apartment and replenishing of fresh linen.further cleaning can be provided at additional cost. A 25% non refundable deposit is required witihin 48 hours of booking ( subject to weekends and bank holidays etc) with balance payable 8 weeks prior to stay. a £100 deposit is payable by separate cheque ( at time of balance ) to cover cost of any breakages or loss of keys ( replacement keys= 25 euros).
