'Casa Feliz' offers the perfect accommodation for a Benidorm Bash or the perfect retreat. Whether you want to enjoy golf (2 courses nearby -within 10 mins drive) walking, fishing climbing or a super family holiday spent enjoying the beach or the many fun parks around the area, the villa is situated in a perfect location, just 15 minutes from the larger resorts such as Benidorm, Altea, & Albir. The villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local shops for supplies, the superb markets for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

'Casa Feliz' benefits from a '3 tiered' communal pool/s, with a shallow tier perfect for the children, plus a children's play area and lovely gardens where you can relax and happily get all the sun you desire.

The villa has a spacious terraced area with stunning sea views, furnished with table, chairs & BBQ to enable you to dine alfresco. With a king, a queen, a double and a twin bedroom (that can covert to double if required) there is accommodation to suit up to 8 people and a cot for an infant. The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the site and smell is incredible. Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays.

In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire to celebrate the night of St Juan should not be missed and the province of Alicante is known for staging the best Hogeras festival

Benidorm / Polop area

The main resort of Benidorm is within a 15 minute drive of Casa Feliz which offers beautiful award winning beaches, bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment, there is something to suit all ages. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Natura are also very close to this property as is the golf course Real de Faula. Other golf courses are within easy reach in well under an hour.

Other coastal towns within easy reach are Villajoiosa known for its colourful buildings, Albir and the historic town of Altea with its traditional marina, it's old style typically white painted houses, church and town square where you can find gift and craft shops, artists and restaurants. Inland are other great towns to enjoy as well as the mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing. Many coastal towns have fishing ports where the restaurants sell the fish caught that day.

Polop it'self has an Arabic fortress and water wells, which makes it very attractive. The famous well 'Font dels Xorets', with its 221 water streams, gives enough water to provide for the whole village. It also boasts the beautiful hilltop church. Those who challenge the climb will be more than rewarded with the panoramic views at the summit. It is a tradional farmers village with small, steep, winding roads and small white and coloured houses.

For the health conscious traveller there is also the new 'Camilo Cano'. This is a Fitness Centre open to all and provides a full sized heated swimming pool, fully equipped weights gym, football courts, tennis squash, children's play area, licenced eating faciltities and much more ...

The centre opens from 7am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to 2pm Sunday.

The facility can be used as one off visits or for a monthly subscription. An example of cost on an adhoc basis is 4 euro's which includes full access to the gym and pool for as long as you like in any one entry.

This facility is 5 minutes drive from the urbanisation.

How to get there

Fly to Alicante airport. Take the AP7 motorway to junction 65 (approximately 45 mintues) the property is approximately 10 mintues from junction 65 following the signs to Finestrat and the Terra Mitica Theme Park.

Whilst we can arrange car hire for you, we suggest you visit travelsupermarket.com where you can find great flight/car price comparisons from all major suppliers.

Also, local buses run regularly between the airport and Benidorm, Polop is a short taxi drive away from Benidorm(approx 15 euros.)

There are always local taxis available from the airport.

You can now also fly to Murcia or Valencia airports (transfer time from airport to Polop approximately 1.5 - 2 hours)

In additon to the main appliances, the kitchen is well equipped with practically all you will need.

The lounge offers a relaxing area for you to enjoy the entertainment area which includes, TV, DVD and music centre with a selection of DVDs included for your enjoyment. For those with children there are plenty of games available for all the family to enjoy

For extra privacy both the master & twin bedrooms offer a private sun terrace which are perfect to enjoy the long hot sunny days. There are built in wardrobes to all 3 bedrooms with the additon of an en-suite to the master bedroom. The property is very comfortably furnished with modern styles.

The villa also benefits from air conditioning to the lounge, dining area & master bedroom.

For those wishing for a winter stay, whilst the weather in the daytime remains pleasant, the temperatures cool in the evening. For your comfort the vllla also benefits from central heating can be used between months of October and March.

'La Casa Feliz' is surrounded by an ample terraced area suitable for BBQ's and offering privacy for sunbathing etc with views that overlook the sea and surrounding mountains. There is a patio table with with seating for 8 plus and sun loungers/chairs. Gated parking facilities provides off road parking.

Whilst smokers are welcome, for the comfort of future guests, smoking is restricted to balcony & outside areas only.

Conditions

A 30% (none refundable deposit) will secure your booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer.

A damage deposit of £200 will be required in exchange for the keys and amount will be reviewed when considering young parties & or families with pets. This will be refunded on inspection of the property on your departure & on return of the keys. On receipt of your secure deposit (approx 2 weeks before departure), the keys along with the villa manual will be sent to you by 'Special Delivery' post.

Many thanks for allowing to be guests at your beautiful villa.it was everything we thought it would be. the villa itself was immaculate on arrival. the interior was of the highest standard with everything one could possible need whilst on holiday. the views over the bay of benidorm are spectacular. the villa is perfectly situated to visiet some of the most beautiful surrounding towns and village, and of course the beaches.

the villa is set in a stunning area at the base of a mountain, the grassed park area and pools were fab. and the neighbours we spoke with were very friendly and helpful.

the only complaint would be that we had to come home. if i had my way, i would buy one and live there.

My holiday in Spain was a great success for all the family. The weather was fantastic and accommodation ticked all the boxes. The Villa offered all modern conveniences, to include sky TV and a dishwasher (well who wants to wash the pots on holiday). There is a bathroom to complement each double bedroom (so no excuses for being late, whatever your plans may be). The location offers easy access to nearby resorts to include Benidorm and Albeas. It is essential that you arrange to hire a car, obviously take it in turns to drive at night if your out on the lash. Oh, make sure you take waver insurance, around £35, the Spanish have no idea how to park a car, mine lasted 2 days before i received a welcome to Spain signature.

Would definitely return to the villa again.

Villa was everything we expected & more! Great directions given in the manual which were easy to follow! Very spacious villa with a home away from home feel! Everything we needed to know was explained in the manual. The pools were great - didn't expect them to be so big! Most days it was like having a private pool - nobody else was there - and on days that there were people they were friendly & welcoming! Hiring a car is essential! (which we did) & it was easy access to everywhere! Albir & Altea beaches are a must to visit! - nice stalls in the evening. We spent a few days in Benidorm too! Always good places to eat - Spanish or British! We spent a day at a animal park (Terra Natura) which took the whole day to cover & was great for the kids! Will definitely be recommending to friends & family! Thanks again for letting out your villa!

Hi Diane

On arrival the villa was very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely view of the mountains when we awoke. The TV has all the usual English channels so when it's hot outside midday you
can relax watch a film on the movie channel or sports!

The views from the terrace were amazing and polop as night looked like
something out of a fairytale, all lit up and typically Spanish.

Eating out on the terrace was lovely with fantastic views.

It's in a residential location so we did find it quiet and a car is a must
but things are never far away. The parks for children are all over the
place and are very clean and well equipped.

Benidorm was not far away although it was not our cup of tea! It was busy
and a little too touristy for us. We explored the beaches either side and
found some fantastic beaches. All had life guards on duty and were very
clean.

Altea is a must see especially by the church. Park your car and walk to
it through the streets it's typically Spanish and a little up market.
Well worth a visit as it's beautiful. Plenty of good restaurants and
tavernas.

The water part Aqualandia was great! we got 1/2 price tickets from
McDonalds. Thought we had to buy and eat 3 happy meals before we got them
but just went up to the counter and asked and she gave us 3! It cost
£12.50 approx with these vouchers normal price around 25 euros. And well
worth it. The rapids are a must. Laugh a minute.

Warning: Don't pack too many clothes. The washing machine is fantastic
and clothes dry in less than an hour outside.

Had a wonderful trip to your villa! The villa is so beautiful and at a great location, so private and
peaceful, and the view is gorgeous!! It is so easy to find our way to all
places from there, with your good tips and the great road markings. We went
to Guadalest, Algar waterfalls, Calpe, Altea, Albir and Benidorm, all
beautiful places only short distances away! We also went shopping at La
Marina mall and saw a show at Benidorm palace, that was a big fancy show,
but the dancers where not the best we have seen :-/. Everything looked so
nice and clean at your villa. Hopefully be back someday! Thank you sooo
much for renting us your villa and for all your help.

We had a fab time in your villa, the kids and us adults enjoyed it very much. It is very clean and spacious with everything you could need. The views are excellent and the backdrop of the mountains is second to none. The beach is brilliant and well worth the short drive. we had a fab time at your villa, which is beautiful, with everything you could possibly need to make it a real home from home. The surrounding scenery is stunning, especially in a morning when the mist rolls off the mountains!!

I have stayed at this villa twice October 2006 and November 2007, returning the second time due to the great value for money and the support and friendliness of the owners. I found the villa very clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect in your own home. The complex is quiet and a car is essential for getting about. It takes approx 15 mins to drive to Benidorm or approx 16 Euros in a cab. The welcome pack gives you all the details you need to know whether this be taxi numbers, location of the supermarket, which has a great selection of British produce to detail instructions on how to work the oven/dishwasher and washing machine.
I would recommend eating out in Altea or Alfaz as there is a great selection of restaurants approx 10-15 mins from the Villa.
If you looking for a quiet location with home comforts and local amenities and good access to the motorways if you wish to explore more of Spain, then this is a great place to stay. Mrs D Woolnough.
