Home description

Built in 2007, this property is well furnished and spacious. It is in an elevated position with fantastic views of the mountains and nearby towns. It has a well fitted kitchen with appliances, lounge dining room, terrace area and large private garden.

Upstairs 3 good sized bedrooms with built in wardrobes, family bathroom and en-suite shower room as well as a separate cloakroom downstairs. There is private parking, large communal pool as well as separate children's pool all set in landscaped gardens.

Very close to the typically Spanish town of Polop and just a short bus ride away from Benidorm and its beaches, Albir, Alfaz del Pi, La Nucia and Altea.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The nearest Airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive using the AP7 motorway will bring you to the property. The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the site and smell is incredible.

Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays. In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire to celebrate the night of St Juan should not be missed and the province of Alicante is known for staging the best Hogeras festival.

The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is just 45 minutes by car or can be reached via a coastal train ride and has a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by the locals who sit and watch the people pass by. The Santa Barbera castle is wonderfully lit at night and is host to the many concerts and firework displays to mark celebrations throughout the year. A fabulous marina with yachts and visiting cruise ships and typically spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food.

The resort of Albir is just 10 minutes by car north of this property and has a lovely beach also the beach town of Altea is not far which has a picturesque old town with white washed houses and a beautiful old church nestled amongst antique, craft and art shops.

Just 10 minutes south is the town of Villajoyosa with its bright painted houses, painted this way it is said so that the fisherman can see there home when out at sea.


Benidorm / Polop area

Benidorm is within a 10 minute drive of this property which offers beautiful award winning beaches, bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment, there is something to suit all ages at any time of the year. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Natura are very close to this property as is the golf course Villa Aitana. Other golf courses are within easy reach in well under an hour.

Inland are other great towns to enjoy as well as the mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing. Just a 10 minute walk away from this property is the town of Polop. A very quaint and typically Spanish town with its cobbled streets, Church and town square where the locals meet to watch the sun set. You will find banks and restaurants, shops and bars, there is also an area with wonderfully ornate water fountains where locals collect their water daily.

The bus service links Benidorm with the other neighbouring towns giving easy access to all of the other nearby resorts. La Nucia, just a short distance away offers more shops and bars, restaurants and banks. Many coastal towns have fishing ports where the restaurants sell the fish caught that day. Mountaineering, horse riding, karting and many other activities can all be done locally.

Nearest airport Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to junction 65 (approximately 45 mintues) the property is approximately 10 mintues from junction 65 following the signs to La Nucia.

Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and the nearest station is either Benidorm or Alfaz del P, you will need to take a short taxi drive from either station.

An airport transfer taking you door to door can be arranged as can daily or weekly car .

A large and well fitted kitchen has all the appliances that you would expect, built in. There is a separate utility area with washing machine. The lounge is large with a dining area and furnished in a modern style throughout. There is a flat screen TV, DVD and TDT.

The large glass doors open onto a terrace area and large private garden. Steps from the garden lead down to a landscaped garden with a pond. Large bedrooms have built in wardrobes and doors leading to a terrace.

The master bedroom has a luxuriously large shower in its en-suite and again doors leading to a balcony giving views to the incredible mountain called the Sleeping Lion.

Further details outdoors:
Just a small cul-de-sac of properties set in a gated complex making the area very private and with no through traffic. There is private parking to the front and steps leading to the landscaped gardens and communal swimming pools.

The main swimming pool is large and unusually shaped and there is a separate, round, children's pool also.

The private terrace and garden area makes this property ideal for families and outdoor dining on the warm balmy evenings.
