If you fancy a day out or two, benidorm is only 30 minutes away which boasts one of the largest waterparks, also you'll find Terra Mitica just a short drive away. Also, for lazy days in, there's a PS2 and outdoor Table Tennis table. Also fab for fishing, mountain climbing and walking holidays.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The province of Relleu covers an expanse of over 75 sq miles. The village itself it set within a large mountain valley like a hidden gem. It is a typical Spanish village yet only 25 minutes from the coast where you will find all the shops and businesses you could ever need. It currently has around 950 inhabitants, and is increasing all the time. Relleu is the perfect example of rural tourism, it has mountain climbing, cycling, walking and horse riding, all this with an average of over 300 days of sun per year. The mountain of Sierra de Aitana standing at 1558m and Puig Campana standing at 1442m overlooks the whole area and can be seen from nearly every point.

The village has 3 small convenience shops to buy your everyday groceries, a tobacconist, 2 bakers, 2 butchers and a fishmonger. We have a village co-operative store that sells local organic produce grown by the villagers. The prices are cheap and the quality is fabulous.
there is also 6 bars and restaurants, along with an Internet cafe and more venues planned to open over the next year. There is a sports arena with football facilities, a new pilota court, a municipal swimming pool plus a planned bar and restaurant, all owned by the town hall and available for use by the whole community.

"Dear Rachel,
Many many thanks for the great holiday we had. The only thing we hated was coming home. Everything was as you said it was, loved the village. Loved the bars. Loved the shops and the views were to die for. We didn't have enough time to explore everywhere.
The beach (which we had already been to) was THE BEST. We would spend day on sand until about 2pm then find a restaurant and have meal, go back to house and swim in pool all afternoon until time for tapas. We followed the signs to "Safari"and ended up at a great place. We drove our car around the safari, but was allowed to get out and touch the animals. Stroked Elephants, Zebras and many more (got mugged by a monkey) it stole a packet of crisps.
Once again, thanks as we had a really good holiday.
