About the home

This is a beautifully furnished and well equipped 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house and is a perfect base to laze away the long hot days at the lagoon style pool or to enjoy the many activities on offer around the many nearby towns. You will be 2 minutes away from a golf course, new spa centre, 5 minutes from the Terra Mitica theme park, and Terra Natura zoo and water park. Benidorm is also just a 10 minute drive away with its wonderful award winning beaches, bars, restaurants and shops. There is a hypermarket and shopping mall just 5 mintues from the property. The lovely private garden is equipped with table, chairs, sun loungers and BBQ and is perfect to enjoy the long hot sunny days and the alfresco dining.

The property is beautifully furnished with modern styles and home from home comforts. The corner plot has a good size private front and side garden leading to the front door which opens into a spacious hallway. The cloakroom leads off as does the door into the kitchen which is well fitted with all modern appliances and has a separate utility room with the washing machine and drying area.

The large lounge has leather sofas and a wall of sliding doors leading to the rear covered terrace and private garden. The lounge and garden have spectacular views across to the sea and skyline of Benidorm, there is direct access to the community pool and can be viewed from the garden. The dining area has a beautiful large table and 6 leather chairs and a picture window overlooking the garden.

The stairs lead to the main bedroom which again is a good size and has plenty of wardrobe space, the en-suite bathroom has jacuzzi bath and twin sinks set into a granite worktop. The other two bedroom are both twin bedded rooms and also have built in wardrobes. There is a family shower room. This is a very comfortable and spacious property offering home from home comforts to ensure you have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

The private garden is a good size and has views towards the lagoon style communal swimming pool and direct access. The downstairs terrace has table and chairs, sun loungers and BBQ. The property is situated within a small gated residential area in a cul de sac which provides private parking. Bicycles can be rented by the day or week and nearby the Spa Centre has paddle and tennis court. There is also an 18 hole Pitch and Putt course within easy walking distance.

Departure clean included. Linen and towels are provided, a small charge is made for the laundry. Mid week cleaning and laundry services can be arranged if required. We can also organise grocery welcome packs containing the essentials or luxury packs with champagne and chocolates and anything for that special occasion. We are also able to provide you with all baby equipment, safe, hairdryer, bicycles, etc. Airport Transfers or Car Hire can be arranged, please ask for whatever it is you require.
We request that smoking is restricted to outside areas.

Conditions

A 20% (250 euros minimum) deposit will secure your booking with the balance payable 56 days before the start of your holiday. Payment can be made by debit or credit card or bank transfer. We will request a 350 euro damage deposit which will be returned once your holiday is completed. We can also offer discounts for stays of 14 days or more.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The nearest Airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive using the AP7 motorway will bring you to the property. The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the sight and smell is incredible.

Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays. In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire to celebrate the night of St Juan should not be missed and the province of Alicante is known for staging the best Hogeras festival. The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is just 45 minutes by car or can be reached via a coastal train ride and has a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by the locals who sit and watch the people pass by. The Santa Barbara castle is wonderfully lit at night and is host to the many concerts and firework displays to mark celebrations throughout the year. A fabulous marina with yachts and visiting cruise ships and typically spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food. The resort of Albir just 10 minutes by car north of this property has a lovely promenade for a morning or evening stroll to the town of Altea where you will find a picturesque old town with white washed houses and a beautiful old church nestled amongst antique, craft and art shops. Just 10 minutes south is the town of Villajoyosa with its bright painted houses, painted this way it is said so that the fisherman can see their homes when out at sea.

The Benidorm / Sierra Cortina area

Benidorm is within a 10 minute drive of this property which offers beautiful award winning beaches, bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment, there is something to suit all ages. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Natura are very close to this property as is the golf course Villa Aitana. Other golf courses are within easy reach in well under an hour.
Lots of fiestas happen during the year including the Film Festival held in Alfaz on the edge of Benidorm between 2 - 11 July 2010 - with famous actors and actresses attending - a selection of latest films are even shown on the beach at Albir on a large screen for all to enjoy.
Other coastal towns within easy reach are Villajoyosa known for its colourful buildings, Albir and the historic town of Altea with its old style typically white painted houses, church and town square where you can find gift and craft shops, artists and restaurants. Inland are other great towns to enjoy as well as the mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing. Many coastal towns have fishing ports where the restaurants sell the fish caught that day. Finestrat is a lovely small village, very popular with local spanish people and tourists as is the beach of La Cala de Finestrat. The development of Sierra Cortina itself has a new Spa centre with health treatments, indoor pool, tennis and paddle courts and cafeteria. An 18 hole Pitch and Putt course is now available at Sierra Cortina. Mountaineering, horse riding, karting and many other activities can also be done locally. We are also able to organise any activity that you need from balloon flights, helicopter rides, jeep safari, quad bike hire, jet skiing, nordik walking and paint ball .............. just tell us what you require

Nearest airport Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to junction 65A (approximately 45 minutes) the property is approximately 10 minutes from junction 65A following the signs to Finestrat and the Terra Mitica Theme Park. You can also access the property from the coastal N332 road. Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and the nearest station is the Terra Mitica theme park station. The property would be approximately 15 to 20 minutes on foot from here. We are happy to arrange your airport transfer or daily or weekly car hire.
