Home description

Very nicely furnished and well equipped 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house, a perfect base to laze away the long hot days at the swimming pool or to enjoy the many activities on offer around in the nearby towns. You will be 5 minutes away from a golf course, new spa centre, 5 minutes from the Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia water park and Terra Natura zoo. Benidorm is also just a 10 minute drive away with its wonderful award winning beaches, bars, restaurants and shops. There is a hypermarket and shopping mall just a few mintues drive from the property.
The house is set in an elevated position with large garden terrace, upper terrace and roof solarium and is perfect to enjoy the long hot sunny days and alfresco dining.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The nearest Airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive using the AP7 motorway will bring you to the property. The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the site and smell is incredible. Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays. In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire to celebrate the night of St Juan should not be missed and the province of Alicante is known for staging the best Hogeras festival. The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is just 45 minutes by car or can be reached via a coastal train ride and has a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by the locals who sit and watch the people pass by. The Santa Barbera castle is wonderfully lit at night and is host to the many concerts and firework displays to mark celebtations throughout the year. A fabulous marina with yachts and visiting cruise ships and typically spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food. The resort of Albir just 10 minutes by car north of this property has a lovely sandy beach and the beach town of Altea has a picturesque old town with white washed houses and a beautiful old church nestled amongst antique, craft and art shops. Just 10 minutes south is the town of Villajoyosa with its bright painted houses, painted this way it is said so that the fisherman can see there home when out at sea.


Benidorm / Balcon de Finestrat area

Benidorm is within a 10 minute drive of this property which offers beautiful award winning beaches, bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment, there is something to suit all ages. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Natura are very close to this property as is the golf course Real de Faula. Other golf courses are within easy reach in well under an hour. Inland are other great towns to enjoy as well as the mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing. Many coastal towns have fishing ports where the restaurants sell the fish caught that day. The village of Finestrat is very pretty and popular with the local spanish people as well as tourists as is the beach called La Cala de Finestrat. The development of Balcon de Finestrat is nearby to a newly opened Spa centre with health treatments, indoor pool, tennis and paddle courts and cafeteria. Also the Weston Hotel and Real de Faula Golf club are just a few minutes drive. Mountaineering, horse riding, karting and many other activities can also be done locally. We are also able to organise any activity that you would like to try from balloon flights, helicopter rides, jeep safari, quad bike hire, jet skiing, nordik walking and paint ball .............. just tell us what you require and let us organise it for you.

Nearest airport Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to junction 65 (approximately 45 mintues) the property is approximately 10 mintues from junction 65 following the signs to Finestrat and the Terra Mitica Theme Park. You can also take the coastal N332 road which will again be signposted once you reach the outskirts of Benidorm. Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and the nearest station is the Terra Mitica theme park station. The property would be approximately 15 to 20 minutes on foot from here. We are happy to help you with airport transfers and daily or weekly car hire.

There is everything that you could need in this property including play station, DVD, CD and music centre. It is very spacious on 3 floors with private off road parking. The front door leads into the large spacious lounge which has a corner bed settee and glass dining table which seats 4 people. Hot and cold air conditioning is fitted in this room. Through to the kitchen which is fitted with washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave etc and has a door leading to the rear terrace garden which has table and charis, sun loungers and BBQ. There is a downstairs single bedroom which has a ceiling fan for your comfort during the summer nights. Also you will find a shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs is the main bedroom which is large and has air conditioning installed. There are built in wardrobes. The second bedroom has twin beds and again built in wardrobes and a ceiling fan. The family bathroom is a modern 4 piece suite with a shower over the bath. On this floor there is a door leading to a terrace which has another table and chairs and is well positioned to watch the setting evening sun. A further set of stairs will take you to the private roof terrace which has loungers and is ideal for soaking up the sun. This is a comfortable and very modern property in the typical mediterranean style

Further details outdoors:
The terrace is well equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrella and loungers. There is a BBQ too and plenty of space to enjoy the sun or the balmy evenings. There is a front garden area and gates opening onto the private parking space. Just a minutes walk will take you to the communal swimming pool which is large and has plenty of grass area for sunbathing. Nearby there is a newly opened Spa centre which as well as offering health treatments also has an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, tennis and paddle courts.

Linen and towels are provided, a small charge is made for the laundry, please ask for details. A maid service or mid week cleaning and laundry service can be arranged if required. We can also provide you with an "essentials" grocery pack or something more deluxe with champagne and chocolates or anything your require for that special occasion. Airport transfers, car hire, bicycle hire available -please ask for details.


Conditions

A 20% (minimum 250 euros) deposit will secure your booking with the balance payable 56 days before the start of your holiday. Payment can be made by debit or credit card or bank transfer. We will request a 350 euro damage deposit which will be returned once your holiday is completed.
