About the home

Our Home is an appealing two bedroomed town house/Villa with both bedrooms en-suite we have full air conditioning and everything that you would expect to find whilst on holiday. If you are looking for a nice relaxing holiday then Sierra Cortina / Golf Bahia is the place to be, we are situated just five minutes from the superb Jack Nicklaus designed Villaitana Golf resort boasting two of the finest 18 hole golf courses on the Costa Blanca special discounted green fees are available by request..
Terra Mitica Theme park is also within five minutes as is the Carting track for all budding formula one enthusiasts.
The Village of Finestrat is very popular with our visitors as is La Cala de Finestrat a quieter family friendly version of Benidorm with a fantastic Beach.
If the bright lights of Benidorm appeal to you then a ten minute drive will see you in the centre of the entertainment capitol of Europe.

A lovely sitting room with two leather settees a LCD TV,and DVD player. A fully fitted kitchen including washing-machine and fridge-freezer. Downstairs cloakroom/wc, large garden and a great sun terrace at the top of the house with spectacular views of Benidorm and the second communal swimming pool.

Further details outdoors:
We have shared use of two large swimming pools one of which has a shallow children's area landscaped gardens, and a tennis court all set in beautiful surroundings.
Close by we also have access to a fully equipped gymnasium together with a luxury health Spa and two high quality restaurants.

We require a £200 security deposit with your payment which is returned to you after you leave and return home.
We do not charge extra for towels bedding or cleaning. This is all included in the price.

Conditions

We do not let to groups of teenagers or to stag or hen parties

The nearest airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive along the AP7 motorway or N332 main road will bring you to the house.

The Costa Blanca region is one of Spains major holiday destinations, and not just by chance. The attractions it offers its visitors are many and varied. Renowned for its year round sunshine, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, dates & vegetables.

In Spring the whole area is covered by white & pink blossom from the almond trees, the site & smell is wonderful. Many festivals & fiestas are held throughout the year & can be enjoyed by everyone. They include the Moors and Christian Festivals with week long processions, battles & fantastic firework displays.

The cosmopolitan city of Alicante is just 45 minutes by car or can be reached by via a coastal train ride. Here there is a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by locals who sit and watch the people pass by.The Santa Barbara Castle. A fabulous marina with yachts & visiting cruise ships plus Spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food. English bars as well with a great selection of food & drink.

The resort of Albir with its lovely beach is just 15 minutes by car from the property, the beach town of Altea only 20 minutes away has a beautiful old town with white washed houses and a gorgeous old church nestled amongst antique, craft and art shops. Just 10 minutes to the south is the town of Villajoyosa with its bright painted houses, painted this way it is said so that the fishermen can see their home when out at sea.

A very privileged climate with an average of 500 hours of sunshine a year compared with 457 for the rest of Spain. Countless marinas and beaches, most of which have been awarded the blue flag of the European Community. Fantastic places to visit from bustling Benidorm with its shops & night-life and big outdoor markets (Wednesday and Sunday mornings) to Guadalest in the mountains one of the most beautiful and peaceful place in Spain

Benidorm is within a 10 minute drive of this property which offers beautiful award winning beaches, bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment, there is something to suit all ages. The theme parks of Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar and Terra Natura are very close to this property as is the golf course Villa Aitana. Other golf courses are within easy reach in well under an hour. Other coastal towns within easy reach are Villajoyosa known for its colourful buildings, Albir and the historic town of Altea with its old style typically white painted houses, church and town square where you can find gift and craft shops, artists and restaurants. Inland are other great towns to enjoy as well as the mountains with waterfalls and rock climbing. Many coastal towns have fishing ports where the restaurants sell the fish caught that day. Finestrat is a lovely small village, very popular with local spanish people and tourists as is the beach of La Cala de Finestrat. The development of Sierra Cortina itself has recently opened a Spa centre with health treatments, indoor pool, tennis and paddle courts and cafeteria. Mountaineering, horse riding, karting and many other activities can also be done locally.
