There are many things that will tempt you to book this wonderful villa which not only has its own private pool but is also located just a short walk from the wonderful town of Polop de la Marina. No need to hire a car for this holiday, you have supermarkets, bars and restaurants and typically Spanish shops on your doorstep.
The villa is detached and located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of town. There is parking, if you do bring your car. You will find as much to do outside of the property as you will inside and you can start by enjoying the large private pool which is surrounded by plenty of terrace area to soak up the sun. Sun loungers are provided and there is seating and table area for Al Fresco dining. Create a feast at the BBQ where there is also an outside bar with cooler and fridge plus, a covered seating area with wicker chairs and sofa. To the back of the villa is the well known Leon Dormido or "sleeping lion" mountain, this makes a fabulous backdrop, and if you feel energetic there are walks up and around this spectacular rock.

This lovely villa has a rich and warm colour scheme running through it from the beautiful modern red kitchen to the comfortable leather sofas in the lounge.
You will find a bright and large lounge with feature fireplace, flat screen TV giving you all free to view UK TV channels. WIFI is also available if you need it. This room has hot and cold air conditioning and lovely comfortable red leather sofas. There is a dining area to one side with views of the pool and here you can comfortably sit 6 people.
The kitchen is well equipped with all appliances including dishwasher, fridge with ice maker, microwave and there is a washing machine if you need it.
The bedrooms are a good size, two double rooms with built in wardrobes and one of the bedrooms has a door leading out to the furnished terrace. There is a family shower room with large walk in shower. The third bedroom which is a family room with double and single bed is completely private and self contained and accessed from the terrace. There is a further shower room off this terrace.
All bedrooms have fans.

The villa is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. If you decide to have a car there is plenty of parking on the private driveway running along one side.
The front of the villa has a lovely large swimming pool which is 8 meters x 4 meters with roman steps leading to the shallow end. There is plenty of space to lounge about and soak up the sun.
Overlooking the pool is a large table with half moon matching seating. Further seating is at the fantastic bar area which has a cooler for your drinks and there is also a large fridge. A gas BBQ is also available for the budding chefs.
Extra seating can be found under the lovely shaded terrace which is furnished with a wicker sofa and chairs.
Bed linen & towels are provided. You will need to bring your own pool and beach towels only.
WIFI available, and must be requested in advance of arrival.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The nearest Airport is Alicante and just a short coastal drive/AP7 motorway will bring you to the property. The Costa Blanca is renowned for its year round sunshine and low rainfall, fresh fish, hand picked oranges, figs, dates and vegetables. In the early spring the whole area is covered with the white or pink blossom from the Almond trees and the site and smell is incredible.
Many fiestas held throughout the year can be enjoyed by all ages, these colourful spectacles can be found in most towns and include the Moors and Christians festivals with week long processions, battles and incredible firework displays. In June the celebration of Hogeras where huge statues are set on fire. The arrival of spring should not be missed with the festival of St Juan where everyone dips their toes in the sea at midnight.
The Benidorm / Polop area
This villa is located just on the outskirts of Polop de la Marina which can be walked in 5 minutes. Polop is a wonderful town, very typically Spanish with narrow cobbled streets and a church square popular with the locals in the evenings and at weekends. Walk up to the church to take in the magnificent views over the town and beyond. Polop has restaurants bars and shopping facilities and wonderful water fountains where you can collect your drinking water each day if you like.
Within just a few hundred meters you will find a supermarket, bread shop and much more.
You can also walk to the town of La Nucia, approximately 15 minutes. This town also has great restaurants and shops, highly recommended is the Carbón restaurant with its glass seating gallery serving mouthwatering Pizza.
A local bus service runs every hour to Benidorm where you can enjoy the golden sandy beaches and lively entertainment or take the bus inland and explore the other wonderful towns of the region.
If you do decide to hire a car you can also visit nearby attractions like the wonderful water falls at Algar, the theme parks of Terra Mitica or Mundomar for the water babies.

Your nearest airport is Alicante, take the motorway to junction 65 (approximately 45 minutes) the property is then approximately 15 minutes from here following the CV70 in the direction of La Nucia.
Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and the nearest train station is Alfaz del Pi, you will need to take a taxi from this station.
As a car is not necessary for this property, why not take an airport transfer taking you door to door which can be arranged as can daily or weekly car rental

We thought this was an excellent villa fitted out with everything you will need for a holiday,
set in a lovely old town with friendly people. Only 20mins by bus/taxi to the coast,
the owners were great met us on arrival and went out of there way to check that everything was okay and make sure we had a good holiday.
I would rate our holiday at Villa la Paz as one of the best and thank all the ex pats in the town
for making us very welcome.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this lovely villa in Polop. The location is very good, allowing you to walk into the village that has a limited number of bars and restaurants, but is a central location for visiting lots of other places by car. The information was a little deceiving, make sure you read ALL the page, as the first few paragraphs can be misleading.
We didnt read it properly, the advert says it has air conditioning, then much further down it informs you that the air condition is only in the lounge and you have to put money in a meter to use it, then the bedrooms have fans, but they arn't ceiling fans, just portable ones, we were very uncomfortable and found it hard to sleep without air con in the bedrooms.
The second shower/toilet is outside and was very inconvenient at night as we were 2 separate families we needed our own bathrooms and couldn't access it in the night without unlocking bedroom doors and going outside in the dark, not all the windows had fly screens and we were all bitten as the windows needed to be open for air. Also the second bedroom has clear glass in door that leads out to patio area with bed directly opposite, and see through curtains, so you can be seen from outside, it needs fablon or obscure glass for privacy.
We believe this is the first year of rental so it needs a little tweeking to be a great rental, no information in the villa for the area, markets etc, how to use washing machine, how to reboot tv when there is a power cut, also dont feed the meter for the air con, because we had a power cut and lost the remaining time.
No Hair dryer, B.B.Q tools. Although we found a lot of things were missing for a great holiday for us, the owners are very friendly and helpful, and said they would welcome any comments we had to help them improve the villa.

Air conditioning is payable locally by coin meter, 1€ will provide you with approximately 1.5 hours of heating or cooling in the main living area.

Winter heating can be made available, if required, a supplement of 60€uros per week would apply, although the heat from the air conditioning may be sufficient.
