Casa Alegria (villa)

Home description

Casa Alegria means "Happy House"
It has a private pool and is only 10 minutes drive to Benidorm and the famous Terra Mitica/Natura theme parks and fabulous golf course. The coast has numerous beautiful sandy beaches and a beautiful mountain range where one can visit the Medieval Town of Gualalest or the waterfalls near Callosa.

The house has 4 terraces with magnificent views over Benidorm and the Med by day but at night resembles the skyline of N York. Hence why the locals call it Beni-York. The lounge has a large TV with satellite and leads off to a spacious terrace. There is a separate kitchen and dining room complete with high chair and down a series of steps adjacent to the pool there is a studio where you can store drinks and lilo's. This has a 4th bathroom.

NB: The low cost of this rental does not cover cleaner - 45 euros - or if the exchange rate decreases the equivalent of £45 - to be left on departure for Shirley, who would appreciate it if you would strip all used beds for her.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

This area of the Coast is ideal for visiting various historical places of interest. The roads are good and mainly dual carriageways so that if you aren't used to driving abroad it is unlikely you will find it difficult. The road signs are excellent. No one has ever got lost from the airport to Casa Alegria.

The nearest beautiful sandy beaches of Benidorm (10 minutes) and Albir, Altea, Villahoysa, La Cala are no more than 15 minutes drive away. Whilst Calpe with it's quaint little sandy cove and fish restaurants is well worth a visit at just over 20 minutes away. Javia also has a beautiful cove with wonderful eateries.

There are many places to eat in Benidorm from the Budget to Elite dining. The old town with it's little winding streets is a must after dark for a Bodiga with a difference. The Tapas Bars are a delight. In la Nucia itself you must try The Alcazar: positively the best restaurant on the coast. Pick from the Al-Carte menu or try the fantastic menu of the house 5 courses with wine. There are also numerous Chinese restaurants to pick from.

Year round the climate is very good. It is rarely cold. The winters Nov - March are like British Summer or Spring. By day: At worst one may need a jacket or umbrella (strictly as an emergency) and it is obviously colder at night when you will need a lightweight jacket. From April it definitely gets warmer and May is often perfect. From June to October I have never been disappointed.

We take pride in Casa Alegria being your home from home. Even linen and towels are provided.
Cleaning and sheet changes are only taken care of prior to and after your stay. However, spare towels and linen are plentiful.

NB: We must make you aware that all the floor tiles inside the property and around the pool can be very slippery when wet and the pool does not have a shallow end so please ensure your children wear buoyancy aids if not strong swimmers and wear non slip flip flops or footwear around the pool when getting in and out of the water.
Whilst indoors, please ensure that you do not walk around with wet feet. Slippers are strongly recommended around the house especially when up and down the tiled staircase.

On your arrival you can be assured of beautifully made beds and a clean home
PLEASE NOTE: The low cost of this rental does not cover cleaning - 45 euros to be left for Shirley on departure.

Conditions

A well-behaved dog is allowed but sorry, no cats.
Strictly no smoking except on the balcony - Please use ashtrays provided.
No breakages deposit but we would appreciate it if you could replace anything broken. If anything major is broken we will bill you after property inspection
£50 per week of non refundable rental fee due at time of booking.
Property is suitable for young children on the proviso they are well supervised and stair gates are used. This is due to balconies, steps and stairs to bedrooms.

Again we had 3 lovely weeks in your house. We are now back home in Holland safe after 21 hours drive. Having spent our yearly main holiday at Casa Alegria in 2008 and 2009 we wished to book again for next year but on checking your website it has been already snapped up for our dates. What can I say your house was perfect as I told you before have been going to Benidorm for years paying top dollar for hotels and for a little bit more or even a lot less, I could have been renting your house. I only wish I had found it years ago.The house itself is a lot bigger in real life than it looks in the picture's sitting on your own large balcony in the morning looking down over benidorm with the sun shining was bliss we will defiantly be back again and someone who work's with my wife is interested as well. Y ou were right about getting a car it was so easy to drive over there the roads are very easy to negotiate will definatly tell all our friend. My wife took ill and we were at a loss as to what to do. The neighbours who live there were very friendly and gave us advice, one took my wife to hospital. Apart from that we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the peace
