Centrally located for beaches, climbing, rambling, golf, bustling towns or just relaxing in the private garden and pool the villa overlooks the quiet town of Polop and is surrounded by peaceful countryside.
Benidorm with its beaches, bars, shops and nightlife is just 15 minutes away and Terra Mitica (theme park), Terra Natura (zoo) and Aqua Natura (water park) are all within10 minutes drive.
If you prefer a slower pace the beautiful town of Altea offers lovely walks along the coast with cafes, shops and the harbour (parking available), and the English Church is well worth the walk up the hill.
The small bay of La Cala is a 20 minute drive away and offers a safe beach experience for the whole family, with free parking practically on the beach. It is very popular with Spanish and English alike and the cafes and restaurants cater for all tastes (this is our personal favourite place to go).
The villa is situated at the base of the magnificent Monte Ponoig (Sleeping Lion) and would be an ideal base for climbers (see photos). For the less ambitious there are several walks and nature trails close by. Golfers are also very well catered for with the nearest course just 10 minutes away.

Our Spanish home has two bedrooms on the first floor, one double and one with twin beds, both have balconies with spectacular views. There is a large bathroom with twin basins, toilet, bidet and bath with shower. The ground floor has another double bedroom and a shower room with toilet. All three bedrooms have large built in wardrobes and bedside drawers and lamps. There are a variety of chairs and small tables for use on the balconies or outside as well as larger tables for outside dining. The house is comfortably furnished (see photos) and a small selection of books, games and dvds are available for your use. May not be suitable for young children (under three)

The villa has a small garden with two patio areas and ample space for parking (although there is a lay by just opposite which is just as convenient)

A booking form will be sent to you which when completed and returned with a 25% deposit confirms your booking. The remainder is payable 10 weeks before departure. A £200 breakages bond is payable in cash on arrival at the villa. Assuming there is no damage this will be returned to you at the end of your stay.
Local English speaking agents hold the keys and welcome packs can be arranged.

The Costa Blanca is a popular area of Spain and with its glorious beaches, spectacular mountain ranges, orange and lemon groves and quaint, ancient towns and villages there is something for everyone. The towns of Calpe, Moraira, Javea and Denia are a short car ride away, or hop on the scenic Costa Blanca Express which travels between Alicante and Denia for great views of the Spanish countryside.
The Benidorm / Polop area
The villa is a three minute drive to the town of Polop with its famous fountains (Fonts Els Xorros) and beautiful church, and just 20 minutes from the 15th century castle at Guadalest (included in the top ten must see sights of Spain and well worth a visit). From the castle you can look down on to the startling blue reservoir below on which boat trips can now be taken. If you do the round trip to Guadalest you return through Callosa d'en Sarria, passing a Motorcycle Museum. Just the other side of Callosa is another famous landmark the Fuentes del Algar. As well as Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, and Aqua Natura there is also Mundomar and Aqualandia near Benidorm and Safari Aitana, a safari park up in the Aitana Sierra.
Closer to home there are two nature trails, one with a play area and it is also possible to walk up into the gorge (good footwear essential). Further up the mountain behind the house is a car park next to a water tower with a helicopter landing pad. This is where the climbers and hang gliders start their trek up onto the mountain (see photo). With the right footwear it is possible to walk a fair way up - magnificent views - don't forget to take your camera with you (and water if it is hot).
The nearest supermarket is just a few minutes away but there are several on the main road to Benidorm (CV70). If you go to La Cala you pass La Marina shopping centre with a huge Carrefour and mall.

The nearest airport is Alicante which is approximately 40 minutes away from the villa. Murcia airport is approx 90 minutes drive and Valencia 120 minutes. Budget airlines fly from many UK airports.
Car hire is available at the airports or book in advance with one of the many operators e.g. Carjet. From Alicante airport take the E15 motorway north and take exit 65a or 65 - the villa is just off the CV70 to Guadalest, more detailed directions are available.
Regular buses run from the airport to Benidorm, a 10 -15 minute taxi ride away from the villa.
