Apartment in a Luxury resort. New construction (may 2007). Furnished with classic designs. The best views of Benicasim beaches. All the rooms with panoramic views over the sea. The resort has four swimming pools, 2 paddle courts, sport court, children playing areas and 20.000 m2 of gardens.
The apartment is in a mountain 100 m over sea level but acces to two beaches Playetas de Bellver and a virgin beach The Renega. An Spa El Palasiet is only 2 km from the resort. To Valencia 75km, to the Mediterraneo Golf Club (Sergio García “El Niño”) 10 Km, to Costa Azahar Golf Club 9 holes, 7 Km to the Oropesa Nautic Club 4 Km, to Castellón Nautic Club 12 Km.

In Benicàssim, products from the sea form the base of a rich and varied gastronomy. Red mullet, sea-dates, shrimps and prawns are prepared following different recipes, or, with its multiple variants, the paella allows a succulent taste of a Mediterranean diet. ‘Moscatel' grapes grow in a few places in Benicàssim, as do juicy oranges. The "Licor Carmelitano" is elaborated following the formula of the Carmelite order with herbs from the "Desert de les Palmes".

Benicassim / Portocala area

Is very nice the sea walk of Benicasim Antique Villas. Just in front of the apartment there is the Islas Columbretes one of the best diving spots in the Mediterranean, is a National Park. www.geocities.com/islas_columbretes/english.htm.
The medium temperature is 17 ºC. In winter 10ºC and in summer 30ºC.
Benicàssim first became a tourist destination over a hundred years ago. Its fine sand, gently sloping beaches, clean waters and numerous facilities continue to shape a resort chosen by thousands of people. The Benicasim district has much more besides. With the backdrop of the "Desert de les Palmes" natural park, there are an endless number of places worth visiting. Culture and leisure, activity and rest are simultaneous possibilities. Over the last few years Benicasim has acquired prominence on the musical scene with the celebration of an international music festival (FIB), which brings together thousands of young people of all nationalities.
Accesses: The N-340 and the A-7 are the principal lines of communication that lead to Benicàssim, which also has its own train station and a bus service.
Benicàssim offers, between July and September, three dates of interest. The ‘Mulabe' Latin Music Festival, which each year attracts a greater number of followers who enjoy, performances by, for example, Celia Cruz. At the beginning of August, the ‘International Festival de Benicàssim' (FIB) takes place, the most important event in Benicàssim, which has bridged all possible borders. In a complete enclosure for concerts with thematic tents, it is a date for tens of thousands of people to dance to the rhythm of the most popular and consolidated bands of the pop music panorama. In September, classical music takes centre stage in the ‘Francisco Tárrega International Guitar Contest', which attracts many famous interpreters of this melodic instrument.
All year round there is a wide and varied cultural offering, fundamentally concentrated in the Municipal Theatre, where theatrical works are developed (Included in the theatrical programme of the ‘Generalitat'(Valencian Council)) as well as cinema and other cultural activities like art exhibitions (painting, sculpture, photography ....) and the traditional manifestations of the different cultural associations of dance, theatre, crafts etc.. The ‘Ciclo of Teatro con Buen Humor' (Cycle of Theatre with Good Humour), which lasts from June to September stands out.

TheBlue Flag Campaign was created in 1987, Environment European Year, a recognition annually given by the European Federation of Environmental Education (EFE) to distinguish those beaches and yachting harbours standing out by reason of having excellent environmental conditions and services.

Water park called Aquarama is opened in summer.

How to get there

There are many low cost air companies (Easyjet, Ryanair, etc..)that fly every day from Stansted / Gatwick to Valencia airport which is 50 mins.drive to Benicassim. You could also take Iberia or British Airways from Heathrow to Valencia Int.airport. With Ryanair you can also arrive to Reus/ Salou Airport, which is one hour and a half drive to Benicassim.
From Valencia airport, you can rather rent a car to get to Benicassim, or take a taxi to the train station that will cost you about 15€. The train would drop you off at Benicassim. A taxi from Valencia airport to Benicassim would cost about 65/70€.
