About the home

Excellent accommodation for 4, lounge and balcony with separate kitchen & utility; one large double bedroom with en suite, one twin bedroom & separate bathroom. Quiet, beautiful pool area open June through September. Underground parking.

Fans in all main rooms, and window canopies to maintain shade when wanted.

Radiators in all main rooms for the winter.

Well-furnished, immaculate, a home from home, even beach / pool towels provided to help keep luggage to a minimum.

Every amenity is on the doorstep so no car necessary. Less than 5 minutes walk from beautiful beach & promenade (see photo gallery), shops and restaurants. Easy walking for small children / elderly, or beautiful hills for hiking / cycling within 1 mile.

Benicassim is an appealing Spanish town, unspoilt, great restaurants, long golden sand beaches with gentle waves. The surrounding area is beautiful if you want to explore - rolling green hills, with Spanish hilltop towns; some forests and gorges and reservoirs with stunning turquoise waters.

An hour away is Valencia city - stunning architecture, home to the arts & sciences, where many hours can be spent in family outings. Similarly aquaparks and water sports abound all along the coast.

Lovely views from the balcony of green hills, rail and roads in the distance (see the photo). People love to watch the world go by, some say they spend all their time relaxing on the balcony - it makes it very easy to forget about the rest of the world.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Costa del Azahar region

Costa Azahar - Orange-blossom coast, north of Valencia - is an unspoilt costa with quiet blue flag beaches, and rolling hills covered in citrus and olive groves. The air smells amazing of maritime pine and citrus - clean and fresh.

Templar history, moorish architecture of older towns juxtaposed with modern Valencian architecture.

1 hour's easy drive to VALENCIA CITY: Formula 1, Americas Cup, major international events in a city full of stunning architecture, both old and ultra-modern.

The Benicassim area

Small Spanish holiday town, kept beautifully clean for its well heeled residents & visitors - old main street has not lost its Spanish feel and charm, but has grown many good bars & restaurants.

A weekend haunt for the city dwellers in Castellon & Valencia, the town has a lot of life without being over exploited.

Home to the European equivalent of Glastonbury pop festival in July, classical guitar and other music competitions throughout the year, Benicassim has a musical theme that goes well with its mix of Mediterranean holiday coast and small city suburb.

Wonderful cycling and walking in the green hills behind Benicassim, and beautiful Spanish hill towns to visit.

Fly to Valencia (Jet2), 1 hour transfer by car to Benicassim. Hire a car at the airport; or you can book a transfer taxi with Shuttle Direct - bookable online.

Or you can fly to Reus airport (near Tarragona) for 1.5 hours transfer.

Gerona airport, north of Barcelona is 2.5 hours away - but its an easy drive.

It is easy to manage without a car once at the apartment, unles you want to do some touring.
