The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Costa del Azahar region
The Costa Azahar area of the Costa Blanca is known as the "orange blossom coast". Inland is the where the real Spain can be found . The coastline offers award winning beaches or small quiet coves, working fishing harbours,and unspoilt natural parkland .Calig is a traditional. Spanish village ,within a short drive of the coast and the neighbouring seaside towns of Vinaros,Benicarlo and Peniscola .These towns share a coastal promenade with cycle/walkway 12kms. long. Peniscola is known as the City in the sea has something for everyone.....
Benicarlo area
Ideal location for relaxation by the pool or excellent base for discovering the surrounding areas . Only 10 -15 mins.drive to the beaches and a 10-15 mins. walk to Calig and all amenities i.e cafes/bars, restaurant, small grocery shops, bakers, post office, churches, outdoor communal pool, tennis court, football ground even a cyber centre -50 cents an hour for broadband internet.The village is clean and welcoming.and very family orientated . The Summer months brings a host of activities,festivals,celebrations to the towns ,where young and old all al join in . and enjoy often until very late.The villa is very central for the beautiful Blue flag beaches and impressive inland village and all the culture and history. Also within a short drive you can go to.... - Golf at Panoramica,considered one of the best in Europe is 15mins., -Adventure activities eg,quad biking ,go-karts, snorkelling,diving,jet skis,horse riding,giant catfish boat trips,etc at the Ebro Delta or Jeep Safari to the Serra D,Irta -Excellent cycling and walking routes both inland from the villa and coastal...very popular in this region. -Music festivals.carnivals ,fiestas,celebrations ...always something to enjoy throughout the year. -If you do not want to drive after a night out they is an excellent taxi service available and very reasonable
How to get there
The main airports are Reus or Valencia both about an hour away. They are served by all the major and budget airlines e.g Easyjet, BMI, Ryanair, Thomsonfly,Monarch,etc. from all U.K locations.
A new airport at Castellon due to open August 2008 will be 25 mins transfer. We can arrange airport transfer in a luxurious 7 seater vehicle.Car hire is available from airports or booked in advanced e.g Economycarhire, Hertz, Europecar, etc...or can be hired locally .
There is an excellent bus and train service from the airports to Benicarlo and then a 10mins taxi ride to the villa.

There is a inset log fire and full central heating.for the winter months. Downstairs shower room and WC with power shower . Dining area leads to kitchen, fully equipped with all mod cons, marble work surfaces and ample storage cupboards.... Enjoy the sea views while washing up.! A separate utility room for laundry and storage . 4 sets of patio doors from the lounge open onto large covered terrace with seats overlooking the pool and garden. Upstairs are 3 further large double bedrooms all with large mirror door fitted wardrobes .One king size bed ,one double bed, three single beds and a spare bed settee. All bedrooms have patio doors leading onto one enormous terrace that offers the most superb views out to the coast ,countryside and villages beyond.
