About the home

Superior 2 Bedroom (1 Queen, 2 x Single), 1 x bathroom beach bungalow with large garden patio overlooking Olympic size swimming pool in a pleasant, peaceful complex and with a westerly aspect to palm fringed horizon of Varca Beach. Fantastic sunset views from balcony & patio and and only 200m walk to 27km of white sandy beaches!

The bungalow stands detached in a small complex with a boundary wall and security gates and is fully self contained.

Has fully fitted hardwood and granite kitchen with latest appliances including LG washing machine, microwave, kettle, chrome finished LG fridge/freezer, toaster, hot/cold taps, 24piece dinner set, glassware and gas cooking with full range of cooking implements.

Dining room and lounge is furnished with beautiful had crafted hardwood furniture from the Goan region and modern cane (also hand made in the region) dining table with 4 chairs. There is Sky TV with English speaking programs including ESPN, Star Sports, Star Movies, BBC World, CNN, Nat Geo/Discovery etc.

Bedrooms are fully fitted each bedroom has same Goan hardwood wardrobes, each with large storage compartments, queen size matching hardwood bed, curtains, safety deposit box & air con in each room. Modern bathroom with fitted appliances, plus hot/cold water shower. Bedlinen & towels are provided.

We have also fitted back up power supply/inverter for those inconvenient power cuts plus backup water supply.

An outdoor front balcony and large garden patio accommodates cushioned loungers and outdoor eating area with table and 4 chairs, plus private palm umbrella to just sit relax, read book or listen to music . Papaya, pineapple, avocado, palms, roses, firs and chillies plants decorate the garden, when the wind blows the there are sounds only of the wind chime . There is direct access to the pool (which can be observed at all times from the bungalow in the case of those keeping an eye on small children etc and a small paddling area for kids)

There is a small supermarket (ask for Shop and Save) within walking/cycling distance which caters for all your daily needs (even money change on crisp US/UKP), plus a fresh fruit and vegetable stall outside (opens 10am-2pm then 5pm on wards). A bottle store next door selling a wide range of local and imported beers and spirits. There is hairdresser, tobacco store, bakery (selling delicious 5 rupee samosas) and deli also in the same location. Alternatively Varca or Benaulim Village is not much further with full range of amenities, ATMs, medical etc. A bread boy cycles to the complex around 8am to deliver fresh bread to your door at unbelievably cheap prices (just listen for his hooter in the morning!!)

Within 100m of the house is the first beach bar (Mamas kitchen) and within 30m across the road there is a local restaurant (Toncias) which prepare a wide range of Indian and European cuisine. Wireless Internet cafe is within 200m (Dolphin View apartments) and Siffy Internet Kiosk is nearby. We do have a internet sim at home for laptop, however the service is only GPRS/EDGE. Please inquire for further details.

Taxis are available in house, at very reasonable rates, our housekeeper has a taxi on standby purely for the service of our guests and these can be arranged 24/7. Additionally scooters can be hired at the same place.

On the Beach along with full aruvedic massage & alternative health & spa treatments there are various water sports and para-sailing activities which can be booked on the beach through the nearby 5 star resort Taj Exotica. Jewelry and local indian crafts can also be bought here at the various stalls scattered around. This season we are also offering low cost bicycles (less than 2UKP per day, please request) for those interested in keeping fit or simply a great way to explore going green.

Finally, Our home is fully managed on-site with 24hour service requests, we can cook, organise trips out e.g Anjuna weekly night markets, shopping, money change, medical or anything you desire!!

Cleaning/house keeping Service & Airport transfer from Goa (Dabolim) airport is included in the price listed.

The Bungalow is fully furnished with solid wood throughout and granite tops in kitchen. A/Cs and ceiling fans and back up power supply/inverter are fitted in every room for comfort. Sky TV with UK sports, news and fashion channels, gas cooking, hot water and electronic filtered drinking water. Bicycles available on request.

Further details outdoors:
The Bungalow has a large patio area with all furniture i.e table & chairs for 4 people. 200m to Beach Restaurants & shops are in walking distance. The property has lovely sunset views to palm fringes of Varca Beach.

The property has local management on-site available to help with any requests or assistance required whilst, in Goa or simply advice on the best shops, restaurants or where to visit. There will be a full info pack available on your arrival and personal taxi is available 24/7 to explore local surroundings/ shopping trips etc.

We are asking for 20% deposit with the reservation & the remainder 6weeks before arrival in Goa. Preferred payment by bank transfer. We can accept credit card payments via PayPal.

Conditions

Minimum 1 week rental. Please note that in event of customer cancellation the deposit is non- refundable.

Russian and Ukrainian are spoken by the owners should you wish to inquire in these languages.

The Goa / West India / Goa region

Goa is known for its laid -back and relaxed atmosphere where you can shop at the fantastic markets, enjoy an alternative life-style enjoy golf, deep sea fishing water sports or make use of traditional healing and massages or . Or you can simply enjoy walking, cycling or swimming beside almost 27 kilometres of beautiful golden sandy beaches, stopping off every so often at one of the beach restaurants for a taste of the extensive goan, chinese, asian and seafood menu.

The climate is consistent all year round hovering between 28 and 32 degrees celsius and is great for a Christmas and New Year break when European holiday destinations are cold.

Goa has a multi-hued and distinctive lifestyle quite different from the rest of India having been a meeting point of many different races, religions and cultures of East and West over the centuries, . Hindu and Catholic communities make up almost the entire population giving it a cosmopolitan outlook which fits well with holiday maker.

The Benaulim / Varca area

Varca, Mabor and Cavelossim, are arguably the most beautiful beaches of Goa, close to Benaulim. These beaches are much cleaner and quieter than most of the famous beaches of Goa. There are numerous beach shacks cum restaurants offering a variety of Goan dishes and seafood at reasonable prices.

For a change the many rivers are available to be explored using a rice boat or traditonal Goan fishing boats where you can have a 3 course meal on king prawns and sea bass and all the beer you can drink for less than £8.

The cost of living in Goa is very low, just a fraction of a normal holiday in Europe and continental food is as widely available as is Asian and Chinese. Fruits and vegetables are very cheap and available all year round from markets close by. Silks, leather and craft goods are also very competively priced. Some shops can duplicate items from UK and European catalogues, so bring your favourite catalogue and have all your clothes custom made in the finest linens and cottons or silks.
If you prefer more alternative lifestyles, then yoga and aruvedic medicines, along with crystal healing and massages are widely available. Alternatively you can visit the 5* spas available at the major hotels such as Radisson and Taj Exotica very close by.

Goans celebrate Christian, Hindu and Muslim festivals so there is always a party or a parade to see. Whether its a trip to the jungle, or the river back waters ,or a visit to the spice farms with elephant transport or up to Anjuna for the live music or vast craft markets Goa has it all and many people come back year after year as a result.

Chris and Olena we arrive home last week from Goa. We had a fantastic time. Your place worked out very well for us. Your unit was very comfortable. Theresa was always ready to lend a hand.
We would spend all day on the beach until 3 or 4pm and then head back up to your place and swim in the pool. The walk to the beach worked out as you were so close. It took us 7 or 8 minutes to walk it on the road was all. The washer was a great help.Thank you for allowing us to use your Villa.

This is an AMAZING place! The house offers everything you need, the people
taking care of you are incredibly nice and helpful and the complex makes for
a beautiful scenery and is very quiet and relaxing! On top of that: The near
by golden beach is PERFECT! Its almost empty, there are hardly any tourists
(thus no souvenir sellers bugging you), no hotels in sight, a really cute
beach shack and on Sundays you can watch the locals relaxing their way: not
a touristy but rather a very authentic place! The BEST BEACH we have seen in
all Goa! Staying at this place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE!
