The Goa / West India / Goa region

Benaulim / Varca area
Varca / Benaulim is right in the middle of the long 15 mile stretch of unspoilt golden sandy beach Portugese history & buildings, wonderful churches are obvious in the surrounding area There is a wonderful rural feeling about the area yet facilities are nearby
There are many festivals to be enjoyed with the locals, all are colourful & spectacular, sights that are unforgetable with delicious foods served. Varca has shops for those everyday needs. Margao, the local main shopping town is about 8 kms away & is not to be missed;it has a indoor market which will amaze you and remind you of souks in North africa. There are many restaurants to choose from.
How to get there
Several charter airlines fly direct to Dabolim, the main airport for Goa, which is just 40 minutes drive from the Villa. Scheduled flights by major carriers such as Virgin atlantic, British Airways and Jet fly to Mumbai (Bombay ) and you can then take the one hour internal flight to Dabolim ( over 12 flights a day) Airport transfer can be arranged on request.

The villa has spacious accommodation for up 6 adults with its 3 bedrooms and their modern en suite tiled bathrooms and shower cubicles. A comfortable lounge seats 7 people and there is a dining area for up to eight adults. Villa C20 has a cleaning service included five times a week within the tariff, the villa has a filtered water supply but it is suggested bottled water is used for drinking. If a vehicle is hired, there is private parking at the villa,scooters & cycle hire can also be arranged.
Please note that any damage or breakages must be reported & will be the sole responsibility of the client renting
Further details outdoors: The villa is in a wonderful location with open views of the surrounding fields and sea just 200 metres away. You can hear the sound of the waves breaking on the nearby beach. There is extensive paving patio areas with bamboo loungers and chairs to enjoy outdoor relaxation

"We had an great time in your villa and in Goa in general. Staying in North Goa for few days made us realise how tranquil south Goa is. Beaches on south side are also not busy.
"James met us in Varca church and took us to the villa. We did not see him after that as we had our own transport. Your villa is lovely and we enjoyed our stay there. The list you sent us for the places to visit and places to eat was very helpful. I would suggest that you make a folder which includes some maps and places to visit around Goa and leave it in the villa for future guest. You can then request the guests to add more info from their experience e.g. places to eat etc. We had our Christmas meal (24th night) in Radisson Hotel and then we went to Varca Church for Midnight Mass. We also enjoyed eating in the Shacks and our favourite was Zanzibar 10 minute walk along the beach (north side). We also went to Margao, Panjim, Dudhsagar, Ponda, Old Goa and visited many churches and temples along the way. We also visited many beaches in north and south Goa all the way Mobor. Having a hire car was very useful and cost effective. It gave us the flexibility. "
