About the home

Perfectly situated in one of Goa's quieter areas, this well equipped apartment is ideally suited to all your needs
The flat is located in a beautiful part of Benaulim and it is a 4 min walk to the idyllic clean white sandy beach of benulim. Some of the most luxurious hotels such as the Taj Exotica is only 10mins walk along the beach and further along is the stunning Leela. There are ‘beach shacks’ all along the beach so you may which to stop, sit and sip a cool drink.
There are daily boat trips if you wish to do a bit of dolphin spotting and if you feel adventurous there is paragliding and jet skiing.
You may wish to visit the historic Old Goa with it's beautiful churches or the spice farms or the famous water falls and take a ride on the elephants there.

Goa is located in South Western India While naturally blessed with a fortuitous combination of vast expansive beaches, forested hills and fertile plains, Goa’s potential as a holiday hotspot is the result of potent intermingling of historical occurrences and the absorption capacity of its own compelling spirit.

Most of Goa is a part of the coastal country known as the Konkan, which is an escarpment rising up to the Western Ghats mountain range, which separate it from the Deccan Plateau. Being in the tropical zone and near the Arabian Sea, most of the year the climate of Goa is warm and humid.

Goa receives the full blast of the Indian monsoon in June with sudden downpours and thunderstorms. However it is during the monsoon that Goa is at its most beautiful – with greenery sprouting all around. Most of Goa's annual rainfall is received through the monsoons which last till late September.

South Goa is the ideal place if you are looking for a peaceful holiday with a easy going pace. Some of the finest beaches in the region hug the coast with Portuguese-style villages scattered through the hillsides.

The Benaulim / Benaulim Beach area

The stunning Benaulim beach is a wonderous place to relax, it is less developed and not a busy as the northern Goa beaches, the warm sands are perfect for sunbathing, while the calm seas are good for swimming. Wooden fishing boats dot the shore,and the palm trees provide welcome shade.

As this beach is famed for its fishing the coastline has many shack cafes offering some of the most succulent, freshly caught seafood in the world.
Also, some of the local fishermen run dolphin spotting trips in thier traditional wooden boats.

Benaulima lso features thriving handicrafts centre attracts tourists for its traditional rosewood furniture. The Church of St. John the Baptist on a hill is quite famous as is the monsoon feast of Sao Joao celebrated as thanksgiving

03/03/09 - 17/03/09 - Our visit to Goa was amazing, The apartment was great, and clean, it was like home away from home. With the beach so close it was great to be able to go for our early morning daily walk along the golden beaches. As we have now made so many friends and the local people are so friendly we will be going again. It was a wonderful holiday , cant wait for the next one and we will be definitely staying at the same apartment.

03/10/09 - 01/11/09 - Anyway, we just want to thank you, the apartment is really nice. Bishnu is a wonderful person and looked after us really well, they have a little girl, so we spent quite a bit of time with his family.
Goa is such a wonderful place, it was a good as I remembered it and better. We stayed away from the tourist places and travel all over and stayed in little villages or in cocohuts on the beach.
Our little boy Sam absolutely loved every minute of it and everywhere we went, we were welcomed by lovely warm and smiling people.
We met loads of locals and expats and stopped in Mumbay on the way back.

03/11/09 - 17/11/09 - Very nice apartment, in a great location, Taxi driver David was lovely, the caretaker was a little difficult to understand as his English is not too good, he is a lovely man and we got there in the end, maid service was excellent too. I would certainly stay here again, everyone was so friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time vacationing in Benaulim, Goa. The apartment was very clean, spacious, comfortable with all the necessary conveniences. The surroundings were peaceful and the apartment was well located within a short distance to the beach and, most importantly, to mouth-watering food!
David, the taxi driver was very obliging and catered to our travel needs. We would certainly enjoy visiting Benaulim again and would stay at this apartment again. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

Very enjoyable holiday. Great apartment- well equipped. Owner’s very accommodating. Willing to attend to all your needs. Slight issues with linen- was rectified immediately though.
Owners very concerning –vey caring and always aiming for visitor to get the best service at the apartment.
To quality equipment, super picture on TV, excellent fridge (very efficient as we like our gin and tonics with ice and really chilled beers-no complaints, powerful showers
Nice eating out places on the beach especially a German cafe next door to the super market in the village where you can get warm cinnamon pastry and cappuccino to die for.
