About the home

Villa Whispering Palms is a lovely choice to enjoy the delights of South Goa, it's location is simply wonderful being only 200 mtrs from tropical Varca beach with its palm fringed white sands lapped by the warm Arabian Sea.
Some of the most luxurious hotels found in Goa such as the Taj Exotica, the Radisson & the magnificient Leela are all along the same stretch of beach, it's also possible you may spot dolphins as you sip your cool drink at a beach side restaurant.

Villa Whispering Palms offers spacious accommodation together with a large swimming pool nearby to cool off & relax, the villa is fully Air Conditioned together with overhead fans, fitted for self catering needs it has a fully fitted kitchen if you would like to self cater, en- suites to all 3 double bedrooms together with colour satelite TV & DVD for your holiday entertainment.

There are inexpensive taxi's available to take you to all the different beaches with their beach shack restaurants, the luxury hotels with their entertainment plus the sights of South & North Goa, all within easy reach which do not require a overnight stay.

Coconut fringed Varca beach is visible from the rear bedroom, the sound of the breaking waves can be heard to soothe you to sleep, the main bedroom terrace offers views over the pool. Solar heated water for your bathing & washing needs, plus two fully automatic washing machines for your personal preference, a electronic safe is included for your personal items.

Two bathrooms are fitted with baths & showers, one is fitted with showering facilities, all have full toilet requiremenets.

Whispering Palms has a cleaning maid service included twice a week within the tariff, the villa has a filtered water supply, If a vehicle is hired, there is private parking at the villa, car, scooter & cycle hire can also be arranged.

The villa offers a airy atmosphere & is surrounded by lovely tropical gardens, there are extensive paving patio areas to enjoy your outdoor needs & relaxment, it is surrounded by coconut palms which sway to tropical breezes & the sound of the waves breaking on the nearby beach.

As English is widely spoken & in most cases is the most common language used, holiday guests will have no problem being understood by the local Goan's, all services are available locally which will make you feel more at home, a information folder will be available at the villa for your reference & general help.

Conditions

Payment Details : A 25% deposit is required to reserve the booking, full balance to be payed 4 wks prior to arrival date, payment by Bank Transfer, confirmation of payment & reserve
booking will be given after transfer clearance.
Please note, personal health issues will be the sole responsibilty of the client, it is therefore suggested that Travel Insurance is obtained prior to departure.
Any breakage or damage within Whispering Palms Villa must be emmediately reported to the owner, repair or replacement to be covered by the client.

There are many festivals to be enjoyed with the locals, all are colourful & spectacular, sights that are unforgetable with delicious foods served. Varca has shops for those everyday needs, Margao, the local main shopping town is about 5 klms away & is not to be missed, it has a indoor market which will leave you spell bound, there are many restaurants to choose from.

A choice of many airlines fly direct to Dabolim, the main airport for Goa, it is also possible to fly to Mumbai (Bombay ) and take a internal flight to Dabolim, ( 1 hour flight to Goa), airport transfer to your villa can be provided if requested.
You may also consider an interesting journey from Mumbai to Margao by train, a way of seeing India at ground level, this would take approx -11 hrs, once again, transfer to your villa can be provided from the rail station if requested.

Had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday over the 2010 Christmas period at wonderful Villa Whispering Palms, Malcolm & Alice were always close at hand to ensure our holiday ran smoothly, the villa was perfect with a location close to Varca beach & the pool, this was well mantained & handy to pop back to the villa for the odd drink or two.
Natty the cleaning maid was efficient & polite,ensuring the villa was always clean & tidy for us,
