About the home

A large spacious villa on one floor. There are 3 bedroom each with own bathroom facilities, one sleeps 4 and the other 2 are doubles. There is a large lounge where one of the settees converts easily to a double bed.

Leading from the lounge there are double doors to a covered garden room were further table and seating area can be found, with wonderful views of the surrounding area, the ideal place for your evening glass of wine. There is a large fully fitted kitchen / dining room where doors lead to a large terrace and garden, the perfect spot, after having collected your fresh bread from the bakery to enjoy a leisurely breakfast.

The lounge is well equipped with English as well as Spanish TV a DVD player, music centre etc as well as a large wood burning stove for those winter evenings. All bedrooms have their own bathroom facilities ( a must for teenage children)
As it is our own home you will find a lot of little extras that will hopefully make your stay that little bit nicer i.e. binoculars ,hair-dryer, toys and games.

Further details outdoors:
There are adequate terraces and areas to soak up the sun or you can always find a shady nook or cranny to hide away with a good book.

The Andalucia / Malaga Province region

Nearby is the large town of Velez Malaga where you can soak up the atmosphere of a typical Spanish market or hop on the tram to the sea-side end of town (Tore Del Mar). Here, I'm afraid you won't find "Ye old English Tavern" or a "Local Irish Bar", but you will find many Spanish Bars and Restaurants with wonderful tapas and local wine, as this is where the Spanish holiday.

The place is very diverse, within the same day you could be skiing on the Sierra Nevada slopes and then sun bathing in the afternoon on one on the many nearby beaches. The area also host some of the best golf courses around and for those who want a more tranquil holiday it is ideal for walking and bird watching, with many rare species of bird to be found near by.

The Benamocarra / Iznate area

Iznate is a small typical white Andalusian village which owes much of its architecture and layout to its Moorish ancestors. The area is renowned for its grape growing and there is even a special Fiesta in August dedicate to its harvest. Although it is only a small village it has all the amenities you may need. There is a swimming pool, tennis courts, football pitch, gym, bars,restaurants and shops.

The location is ideal for exploring this region as it is only 8k from the main auto route along the coast. It is surrounded by other small villages where you will be welcome to join in the many fiestas which occur throughout the year (a full list of which is available at the villa).

Nerja and its caves are just a 20 minute drive away and there is an excellent water park 20 minutes away.
