Casa Verano is a beautifully maintained holiday home located in the private Mi Jardin (my garden in Spanish) urbanization. As you enter through the new porch you will feel the quality and comfort of this house. The living room is surprisingly large and airy and the fitted kitchen has everything you need to prepare those relaxed lunches.The house has its own garden, ideal for sun worshippers.
Outside is the lawned garden with sunloungers and this has a wall to keep your little ones safe. To the rear is the barbecue terrace and utility area with automatic washing machine. The hot water is electrically heated so a good supply is assured and there is no messing with pilot lights.

The lounge and all three bedrooms have remote controlled air conditioning and these feature a ‘quiet’ setting and a sleep timer to ensure a restful sleep on those hot summer nights. The master bedroom has its own en suite with feature 140 x 80 cm. shower.
Your first impression of Casa Verano will be one of quality with new porcelain ceramic floors throughout and discreet, remote-controlled air conditioning which also provides heat to ensure your comfort wahtever the time of year.
The TV system is provided by a local cable network and this has BBC1, 2 & 3, ITV1 & 2, Channels 4 & 5, Sky One, 3 movie channels plus new and Sports channels so there is no need to miss your old favourites. There is also a DVD player.
There is a safe to protect your valuables.
We have installed Fujitsu General, remote-controlled air conditioning which is super quiet and can also be used to provide heating in the cooler months. The house is close to the pool so it is easy to keep an eye on the children from your terrace. We also provide a good quantity of glass and tableware, a cocktail shaker (essential) and we have a full range of baby and toddler items available. The house will be cleaned to a very high standard prior to your arrival and bedlinen and towels (except beach towels) will be provided. There is also a safe for your valuables. We work harder to create that home-from-home for you.

All of the garden areas are communal and tended daily by our own gardener. The pool is cleaned daily and the water tested to ensure good quality bathing. There is also a shower. In the lower garden area are two swings and a slide and these are very good quality, hardwood construction. There are many palm trees, jacarandas and a feature bougainvillea hedge at the lower entrance to Mi Jardin.
The beach is a short walk and there are bars and restaurants. The local beach bar has tarmac parking so you could pack a picnic and head for the sea. At the entrance to the urbanisation is a new shopping centre which has a Carrefour supermarket, a bank, Italian restaurant with excellent pizzas to eat in or take away, tapas bar, dry cleaners, internet café, hairdressers, superb Indian restaurant and stylish Spanish bar/ restaurant. All of the bars and restaurants have tables and chairs on the pavement so you can sit and enjoy a drink whilst watching the world go by.
The Costa del Sol region
This part of Spain is protected from the northern climate by its 'Sierras' and so enjoys a fabulous climate all year round. Travel inland a little way and you have the traditional Spain, try a day out at El Chorro and swim in the freshwater lakes. The city of Malaga is a gem with its paved streets, the famous Picasso museum, the cathedral, its many restaurants, cafés and bars. Try Malaga's oldest tapas bar 'Logüeno' (Log-wen-o) or stroll along the Alameda Principal with its many flower stalls, the colours are overwhelming. Then you can walk up the paved Calle Larios and maybe take coffee and 'churros' in the Café Central in the Plaza de la Constitución. Head further east and you have Nerja with its famous caves.
The Benalmadena / Torremar Carvajal area
At the heart of Benalmádena is the old white Andalusian village of Benalmadena Pueblo with its narrow streets with flowers growing everywhere, so much colour. The Plaza de España is at the heart of the Pueblo and has cafés, restaurants, craft and souvenir shops and the fountain of the young girl, the symbol of Benalmadena. This too is the real Spain as the locals go about their day-to-day business and some of the older village folk sit on a bench in the shade of the orange trees and just chat away to each other.
For the children there is Tivoli World just a bus ride away in Arroyo de la Miel and a little further on is the World famous Benalmadena Marina which has won worldwide acclaim for its architecture. The marina has more activities and restaurants thatn I can list here so put it on your itinerary.
Within walking distance of the villa is the Altos del Higueron shopping centre which has a Carrefour supermarket, a bank, an Italian restaurant which has superb pizzas to eat in or take away. Then there is the Taberna del Frasco bar, a dry cleaners, internet café, excellent Indian restaurant, hairdressers and the very stylish 'Punto Rojo' restaurat and bar. All the restaurants and bars have tables and chairs on the pavement so you can sit and sip your 'mojito' whilst watching the world go by.
For those who like to shop there is the excellent Corte Ingles at Mijas Costa and this has top names at surprising prices especially during the sales. Within this beautiful department store is the Hipercor supermarket which sells everything from air conditioners to zip fasteners (couldn't think of anything beginning with Z). Within Hipercor is its own bakery, delicatessen, superb fresh fish counter and Spanish takeaway food counter where they will prepare you a paella of your choice and they make a gift of the 'paellera' - paella cooking pan - to you: superb!

Arrive by air into Malaga airport which enjoys excellent services both scheduled and charter by most of the British carriers. When you arrive we can have our reserved taxi or minibus service waiting for you to take you directly to the villa. If you have a later flight, the driver will have the keys and we will switch on lights for you. If you are hiring a car from the airport we can email directions with photos to make the journey simple and straightforward.

The house is rented on a weekly basis with Saturday as the changeover day but in the lower season months we are negotiable on both these points.
