Home description

On entering the gates to the villa you are met by well manicured lawns and the pool before the imposing staircase leading into the villa. On entering the villa, you will not be disappointed. The large spacious lounge area has plenty of sofa space where you can relax and watch TV or indeed a DVD (do not forget to bring your own favourites!) Just off the lounge area is the elegant dining table which then leads into the fully equipped kitchen. The lounge also opens onto a glass screened terrace which overlooks the pool area.

It is on this floor that the majority of the bedrooms can be found. All of the bedrooms contain plenty of wardrobe space, and are well furnished. There are two twin bedrooms and a double bedroom which between them share the use of two separate shower rooms.The spacious master bedroom has a further double bed with en suite bathroom.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The Costa del Sol offers everything you could wish for from a holiday. It has 300 days of sunshine, over 60 magnificent golf courses, water parks, designer & high street shopping, boat trips & water sports, fishing, Zoo & safari parks, beautiful beaches etc. You can even go Skiing in Sierra Nevada if you tire of the sun. You can visit Malaga city which offers historical buildings, art museums e.g. the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, cathedrals, bull rings and even a bull fight! Ronda & Nerja are also two villages close by if you fancy taking a day trip. There are weekly markets in most areas ask for details.

Benalmadena / Torrequebrada area

Benalmadena Costa has many beaches and an award winning Marina with excellent facilities, fantastic nightlife and the fabulous Aquarium & Dophinarium.

In Benalmadena there are plenty of things to do and see and family fun days at places like the amuesment & theme park Tivoli World, see the penguins and dolphins at Selwo Marina and Sea Life or take a ride in the Cable Car to see breathtaking views across the Mediterranean. There is also a fabulous Park in Arroyo de La Miel called Paloma Park where many birds and animals run free. For those of you who like a flutter Torrequebrada Casino is worth a visit and there is also a great weekly magic show and Flamenco show at the Torrequebrada casino hotel. Fuengirola Zoo is only a bus or train ride away and will be enjoyed by the whole family. You can also take a ferry from the Marina to Fuengirola as well as fishing trips or dolphin trips. The weekly market is at Tivoli World car park every Friday.

If you are looking for nightlife, Benalmadena is one of the best places on the Costa del Sol with a large selection of different types of bars, clubs, restaurants that there is always something to suit all tastes. There are two main areas 24 hour square which is exactly that and the Puerto Marina.

Every type of cuisine imaginable is catered for in Benlamadena and there are many English, Scottish and Irish pubs, most of which have live big screen sporting events. You can also find nationality restaurants, including, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Dutch,etc and you should also try out the local dishes in one of the beach "Chiringuito" (Beach Bar) where fresh fish dishes are served up with your choice of drinks be it a glass of the local sangria a local beer or a chilled glass of white wine.

The apartment is just 15Km from Malaga International airport. Full directions are provided prior to arrival.
Most budget airlines fly to Malaga from major UK airports inc. Flybe, Easyjet, BMIbaby etc.
Car Hire and airport transfer prices can be provided and arranged on request.

Downstairs of the villa there is direct access into what is effectively a separate apartment, but it is contained within the main house. This are has a double bedroom with a large bathroom housing a shower and a jacuzzi bath. The lounge to this part of the villa also has its own kitchen area, and has access direct out to the poolside. The sofa in this lounge can also act as a sofa bed. Access to satellite TV is also to be found here. Both the lounge & bedroom have air- con as do the lounge/dining room and master bedroom upstairs. This part of the villa is ideal for those extended families who want a little respite from the remainder of your party!

There is also to be found down here a table tennis table, dartboard, jacuzzi and Turkish shower! All in all the perfect place to come and unwind after a hard day in the sun.This villa is truly fabulous for a holiday and is private and spacious and close enough to amenities should a night out be what the doctor ordered!

"Our stay at villa Cisne was terrific. I was really worried at first as there were 14 in our group, and you know what they say about pleasing everyone. However as soon as we saw the place we knew we were going to have a ball. The villa was immaculate both inside and out and its hard to say who enjoyed the pool more, the adults or the kids! (I think the kids just shaded it.) Location wise, it was nice and quiet which suited everyone, and the walk to the beach front and bars was no trouble, although it had to be a taxi most times on going back as the hill was a bit of a killer. Taxis were no more than a few Euros, about 5 or 6, and even the marina at Benalmadena was cheap enough to get to. In summing up, like I said at the start, we all had a terrific time and would have no hesitation in staying again. The transfers both to and from the Villa were on time and excellent. In fact we used them during our stay to get to the waterpark, as there was a bus strike. Lots of tears were avoided that day, and not just from the kids!! " Quinn family, UK.
