The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
Its miles of beautiful sandy beaches and fantastic weather which have kept tourists flocking back year after year to resorts like Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Marbella.
The Costa del Sol caters for young and old alike, offering a host of entertainment choices for the native and visitor alike. The coast boasts one of the highest concentrations of world class golf courses, to the extent that it is often dubbed "The Costa del Golf".
For families there are theme parks, including water parks, go-karting, safari parks and many beautiful public gardens. For younger visitors the main areas of attraction are Benalmadenas Puerto Marina & 24 hour square and Marbellas Puerto Banus. Both are very trendy and chic, but be warned the bars and clubs dont get busy until near midnight and stay open till dawn.
The areas history dates back to the Phoenicians and has since been inhabited by Greeks, Romans and Moors, all of whom have left their mark on the areas architecture and culture. Perhaps less well known is the areas culture, often in the shadow of its neighbour Seville, The Costa and the Malaga province are home to some of the finest Flamenco shows, bull fighting & tapas restaurants.
The areas infrastructure is well organized with the new Autopista del Sol providing access from Malaga to Estepona and beyond to Gibraltar. The old N340 coast road is a little slower but offers some lovely sea views as it winds its way along the coast. Links between Granada, Seville and Cordoba are easily accessible for those wishing to venture further inland.
The International airport has regular flights to most major cities and is located just 10 minutes from Malaga City centre, and is within 30 minutes by car from most other popular resorts on the coast.
Benalmadena / Torrequebrada area
The apartment is only a 5 minute walk to the local beaches,(including a naturist beach), beachbars, restaurants overlooking the sea, casino, golfcourse and bus stop. The nearest supermarket is a 10 minute walk. Train station 20 minute walk and the airport 20 minute taxi ride. Minutes away by bus, from the "buzz" yet peaceful enough to get a good nights sleep! Walk along the clifftop walkways to the centre of Benalmadena, stopping at the viewing points along the way to watch the sunset.
There is plenty to do for all ages in and around Benalmadena. Here are some examples:
Miles of promenades where you can stroll or people watch in one of the numerous cafe bars. The marina with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Boat, dolphin and fishing trips. Torrequebrada championship golf course is minutes away, as is the casino with its top class shows. Paloma park with its lakes and roaming wildlife. Cablecars to the summit of Monte Calamorro. Falconry, horseriding, the crocodile park, Fuengirola zoo, aquaparks, the Sealife centre, marine park, jeep tours, go-kart racing, Tivoli World theme park, bowling, cinema, family entertainment centre, shopping malls. Benalmadena pueblo, Torremolinos, Malaga city, Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Ronda and and Gibraltar are all within easy travelling distance
How to get there
Cheap flights from most major airports in the UK to Malaga. Property can be reached by Taxi at a cost of 20 Euros approx -15 min drive. Car Hire is availible from Malaga airport or www.carjet.com Public transport - cheap and excellent service! A car isnt necessary as the bus stop is only a 5 minute walk away. The buses runs along the coast from Fuengirola direct to malaga city. Taxis are plentiful. The nearest train station is a 20 minute walk. The train runs through all resorts and to the Airport.

Further details indoors: Once through the main door, just five steps lead up to the apartment, yet the terrace is high enough to give you good sea views. Spacious hallway with doors separating the lounge from the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Private parking for those who drive, but a car is not essential as the bus and train services are cheap and excellent.
Further details outdoors: The long terrace holds 2 tables and parasols and has a good sea view. Walk down the path to the swimming pools. Underneath the pool you will find a changing and wash room with toilets.

Arrivals - 3pm - Departures 10.30am. Whenever possible we try to make an exception to this rule for the convenience of all, depending on flight times.
TO MAKE A PROVISIONAL BOOKING, you should first phone or email us to find out if the dates required are available or use the online availability calandar above. Only the persons named will be allowed to stay at the apartment.
On receipt of the deposit we will send you a receipt and confirmation of the balance amount payable. Name and number changes may be made, if agreed with us prior to arrival at the apartment. Unfortunately if the rules are not adhered to, you will be asked to leave the apartment and no refunds will be given. No more than four guests may reside at the apartment during the rental period. A deposit of 25% is required to secure your selected dates.
Balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. Keys and directions will be mailed separately 10 days before travel, together with the name and telephone number of the person managing the apartment.
Cancellations within 8 weeks of travelling are suject to a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations within 2 weeks of travelling are subject to 100% cancellation fee.
A security deposit of £100 must be paid along with the balance, which will be returned when we receive the keys.
Whenever possible we try to make an exception to this rule for the convenience of all, depending on flight times.
For this reason, it is important to let us know as soon as you have them.
Once you have made a booking we can help and advise with flights, car hire and insurance.

Thanks for the email. We had a wonderful holiday thanks. Don't know if you got my text message, but we were thrilled to bits with the apartment. It is so homely, and the extra touches of being able to use the cool bags, beach chairs, teatowels etc made it even easier to relax and have a lovely holiday. The kids loved the pool and you were right, some times we had it entirely to ourselves.
All in all a great the apartment was very clean and comfortable and we will certainly look at returning in the future as well as recommending it to our friends and family.
