The complex is in an ideal location for all holidaymakers. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, one double and one with 2 single beds. The kitchen is well equipped with all facilities for a self catering holiday. The living room is large and comfortable with patio door leading to balcony which has morning and afternoon sun depending on time of year. The apartment overlooks the large swimming pool and lovely gardens. It is in a quiet road but only 3-5 mins walk to the bars and restaurants. The beach is only 10 mins walk away where you can stroll along the promenade to the Puerto Marina. The lovely Paloma Park is 10 mins walk away, well worth a visit and the typical Spanish town of Arroyo de la Miel is only 10 mins walk away.

This is a very nice apartment on a very popular complex, people always want to come back because of its location which is very close to Bonanza Square with all its bars and restaurants but is situated in a nice quiet road.
Double bedroom furnished with fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers . Cold air conditioning.
Single (2 beds) bedroom furnished with fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Kitchen is tastefully decorated with all equipment needed for a home from home holiday.
Living room has a 3 and 2 seater settee, dining table with 4 chairs, coffee table and English tv. Hot/cold air conditioning (metered).
The balcony has table and four chairs with nice views of the gardens, swimming pool and mountains and sea.

Terramar Alto has a very large swimming pool with toilet facilities and fencing for safety. The garden is very large and well looked after. The complex has secure entrance system with key needed to enter and electric gate for cars.

The Costa del Sol region


The Costa del Sol , one of Europe's top holiday destinations, is a very popular region of Spain especially for the climate, as temperatures average 16-18 deg. in winter and 28-35 deg, in the summer with over 300 days of sunshine per year.
The Costa del Sol has more than two million visitors per year who arrive at Malaga airport and head to one of the many destinations along the coastline from Gibraltar in the west to Nerja in the east.
From the airport heading west you come to Torremolinos (about 10 mins), Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Mijas Costa Further down the coast is Calahonda, Marbella with its famous Puerto Banus Marina, Estepona and Gibraltar (about 60 mins drive) by car.
The Costa del Sol is renowned for its excellent golf courses of which there are about 70 which can be played all year round. The Puerto Marina at Benalmadena offers various watersports such as paragliding, sailing, boat trips, dolphin watching etc.
Coach trips are available to various places of interest such as Mijas, Ronda, Nerja and Gibraltar being just a few.
There are two aquaparks in the area, one at Torremolinos and one at Fuengirola, Fuengirola Zoo is ideal for all the family.
The Benalmadena / Benalmadena Costa area
Benalmadena is divided into 3 different zones, the village of Benalmadena or locally known as the Pueblo, the town of Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena Costa which comprises approx. nine kilometres of coastline and forms one of the most important and popular tourist resorts of the entire Costa del Sol. The beaches have been awarded the European Communities blue flag for their excellent standard. And for golfers the region offers some of the best courses in the world.
Benalmadena marina is the focal point of Benalmadenas night life with various restaurants, bars, discos, cocktail bars etc. You can stroll along the promenade to Torremolinos with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops along the way. Sealife Centre is situated at the marina, ideal for the kids.
Tivoli World amusement park is situated in Arroyo de la Miel. Depending on the time of year it is open to the early hours with its many rides for the younger and older kids, wild west shows, flamenco dancers etc. Outside Tivoli World you can get the cable car to the mountain top with its spectacular views, donkey rides for the kids and falconry and horse shows.
La Paloma Park is just 10 mins away from the complex. It is a lovely park which has bars/cafes where you can sit and relax. Rabbits, chickens, peacocks roam freely in the park. There are also play areas for the kids to enjoy. Selwo Dolphinarium is situated outside the park.
Market day in Arroyo de la Miel (in Tivolo car park) is on Friday and a flea market on Wednesday situated near Paloma Park opposite Selwo Dolphinarium.

There are many low budget airlines that fly to Malaga from all over the UK and Europe, and the earlier you book the cheaper it will be.
It will take approx. 15-20 mins from the airport to the complex by taxi. The cost is approx. 25-30 euros depending on time of day.
There are numerous car rental offices available at the airport., alternatively you can get the train to Arroyo de la Miel which runs approx. every 30 mins which takes 25-30 mins then the complex is a ten minute walk away.

The apartment was lovely, and ideally located, just a few minutes walk to the beach one way and shops and cafes/restaurants the other. The apartment was clean and tidy and the owners were very helpful and friendly, and pointing out where things were on the way to the apartment. The double bed was slightly uncomfortable for me, but fine for my son, and didn't ruin our stay. The pool and complex were lovely, and there was satellite tv, so could watch UK tv, which was great for my son. We watched dvd's when there was one rainy day. Thank you for a lovely weeks holiday, we all had a great time. I will be considering returning next year. Response: Thank you for your honest review. This is a very comfortable and well placed apartment. The apartment was clean and has everything you need during the holidays. Great location, very lovely garden and nice pool. The building is very secure and you can also park your car safely. Polite neighbors and very nice owners. But most of all, it was very comfortable for us to stay in this apartment with 2 young children (3- and & 6-years old). Plenty of room for them to play. Benefit came from TV and DVD-player. Beside all the other amenities in the kitchen, was very important for us a big refrigerator, so you do'nt have to go the grocery store every day.
